I really felt this moment in the end, when you tried and tried to get the screw to stick… I don’t have a ton of ice climbing experience but I know this from rock climbing: You’re way in the climb and there is this scary move, not even complicated but quite exposed and it really feels like you could need some protection. Then you try and try to get a nut ora a cam but nothing really works (mostly because you’re too exhausted and don’t focus right) and at some point you decide to leave it, pull all your courage together, do the move and suddenly you’re at the anchor. And you just laugh at yourself, because it wasn’t that hard and really not far, but minutes ago this move seemed completely impossible. So, I guess I’m happy to see that it’s not only me who experiences this kind of situation. 😂
I love the opinion of people not enjoying the entire experience for an objective that is this awesome! The full day for one climb is definitely hard to convince people, but I’d do this in a heartbeat! Keep making the great content!
Hahahah dude thank you so much, that actually means so much. Don't worry I will still have the other type of videos. I just want to make something for you guys since I haven't been able to get out at all lately. I will be turning this into podcast form as well so you can listen while you drive to the mountains too.
I totally agree. The story adds so much. I'd love to see other video of the climbs/approaches with the story laid over so you have the clips and emotions of the narrative
@@canadianboyz5520 reason why I moved to Canmore was for big adventures. So definitely wouldn’t pass up the sufferfest especially if someone was going to rope gun it for me. Hahaha

If it’s not a sufferfest I don’t want it! You’re my kind of climber. Haha
I have the same problem finding people who want to suffer with me. You’d think they would be more common in our outdoor sports. Lol
Hahahahha let's goooooo dude. Not many people want the suffer fest

Man thanks so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏 it's definitely a bit hard...
I love these story format videos. I know I’m in the minority here but I might like them more than the regular climbing vids!

Such a rad sounding adventure. Stoked that you got the adventure that you were after.
It was pretty awesome, if you ever got the opportunity you should take it.
