French film-makers have arrived in Auckland with Catherine and Theirry Rolland, to create a documentary series on missing French teen Eloi Rolland.
Rolland, 18, arrived in New Zealand from Montpellier in France to learn English in September 2019.
He was living with a host family on the North Shore when he left the house on the evening of March 6, 2020. It is not known where he spent the night.
Early the following morning, he caught a train from Britomart station in the CBD to New Lynn, where CCTV snapped him walking south down Fruitvale Rd.
Cellphone data put Rolland in the vicinity of the Piha Rd and Scenic Drive intersection at 9.18am, where police believe he walked.
Police have not been able to confirm his whereabouts beyond this point.

That is so cruel that they werent allowed to arrive earlier , just because of Covid. It is unacceptable explanation.
they might've been allowed if there was some evidence or sign of him
Shed tears 😭 now for him and his family.Prayed a few times for him since I heard of it. Feel very sad. I pray that the truth will be revealed wherever he is.Also for strength for his family.Amen
My heart breaks for these parents, i hope they find some closure, or beter still reunited with their son, 💔
Is this documentary going to be for a NZ audience, in the hope it jogs someones memory, or is it a documentary for France only? It's odd that no one knows where he slept the night before he went to Piha. If he slept rough, he doesn't look dishevelled in the CCTV footage at the train station the next day. I wonder if he did sleep at his host families home, in the garage or something and they just didn't realise he was there.
New Zealand Police are slow in their investigation they're slow to react to situations.Don't wait for them get help from private security.
They need to get a private detective that would investigate the disappearance of the others young students disappeared mysteriously in the same area since 1992. There is 6 missing people~ something is obviously odd
And a really similar story in Bondi beach of Theo Hayez from Belgium. Praying it can get solved!
@@sophsmovies Not Bondi - Byron Bay. The two places are quite far away from each other.
Oh no. Praying for his safety. God bless. Oh my heart.
This..!
Wherever he is I hope he's alive 🥺 this is so sad. Covid is enough but missing family members is too far
Shared this video on Facebook telling people to share to everywhere
J'espere tout va bien.

Il et surement pas vivant.. RIP ÉLOI I
Gosh they think he is still alive somewhere? I would assume he had met foul play or fell/accident in the bush or something. I guess as a parent, some cannot believe the worst abt their precious child. . Aotearoa is a stunning country with some awesome people, but some bad sh*t has gone down here, some evil crimes, and people go missing and never get seen again :(:( Awful.
