To those saying "this doesn't reveal anything" the rebirth scene is meant to pair with the first 3 revival quests designed to give the player a preview of the association between WL and flight (before learning that WL is the name for what powers your wings) while also teaching important non flight skills afterwards.
Oh man, I feel old. I've been playing this game since Season of Sanctuary, and now we're getting a whole new beginning sequence AND a new Home location. I'm officially part of the 2nd half of the 1st Generation of Sky.. This game is so beautiful. I hope this brings many new players! ❤
This is what my first experience was like. Revival was a great season for moths, like me. 🥰 (it had just ended when I started, but it was soon enough that I got all of the seasonal stuff including the intro)
Yes you are so right! Maybe it could be like, by one of the shards? That would make more sense for the new players, plus when they encountered the actual shards in-game they would be curious and want to investigate them :0
The new birth already arrived but only for new players,old players tho only has new rebirth scene where we just plop from sky .And no, we can choose our home base so dw. We can choose home or aviary.
sadly and unfortunately... no.. its just the last part where we just fall in the ground. I do hope some oobers find a way to make vets go there tho. or probably hoping we can get it also after eden which i think its just a small chance.

I’m from season four belonging and I started mentoring moths by the end of season of sanctuary. Now I’m seeing a new generation. I’m so ancient
I wish I could forget when I started to play this game, so I can experience it over and over again.

The darkness might be very powerful, so the moth just fade because they cannot control their cape that the darkness is slowly destroying it, i guess

i love this, the music reminds me of studio ghibli!! haha! gonna miss the old beginning sequence tho :(
When we are here in the new birth scene you can faintly see we have 400 winged lights on our back, so I’m assuming that’s our goal.

aviary is supposed to be the starter area for moths to learn the world of sky though
