I haven't flown a Nano but I have flown light gyros with smaller rotors. Well guys this is what it is like to fly the light stuff, start encouraging those building the big heavy two seaters to start making stuff lighter and that's what they are like to fly.
It's really pleasing to see the Nano being produced its a type of gyro that the market is missing. However it's going to be important to consider the transition from a 300kg+ empty weight two seater to a single seater. Especially a 50hp model.
Back in the day the glider when flown solo had this type of stick feel, super light. We also did loads of strip runs and hops. If CFIs or two seat instructors are going to transition students from say a Calidus to one of these then it makes sense to do some supervised ground runs with the students, balancing, small hop, bigger-longer hops etc so the student can get used to the lighter feel or even build a boom trainer to give students some experience with a light stick feel. May save some accidents from students used to having to horse the stick around.
The other factor that gives some of the gyros like the Dominator which often used twisted dragon wing rotors is those rotors because of the massive pitch needed massive chord weights to stop them loosing all their rpm too quick so they tend to hang on but this also means they have significant mass.
The rudder being an all flying tail will not give much feedback it will just turn an anti servo tab could induce some back in but if people are happy to fly with a light response without much feedback I suppose they'd get used to it. Its great to see at least one manufacture.
And that smooth lack of stick shake. That's how they all should be, people have been writing off crap blades or poorly stringlined and balanced blades as 2/rev for far too long. That's NORMAL if yours are doing this they are not set up correctly. If I had paid $5000 for a set of rotors or $150 000 + for a gyro I'd give it back and demand my money back the stick shake most put up with.
Looks like a great machine, well designed. Credit to the makers. We should all be emulating this.

With no doors on the side, is there much turbulence inside the cockpit? And what is the maximum pilot height? It looks a little tight. But I want one anyway 🙂

Is this a part 103 machine?

It is not great to have zero pressure on the stick. You may want to add a system of springs or bungees to define a solid neutral. Same for the rudder. Nice machine
