    Thanks guys, great video! Do love going back and rewatching the older content!!!
    It’s amazing to see how much of the country you used to do with an on road van before you started using the bigger off road kit.
    Thanks once again for continuing to create such positive, inspirational content.

    You both do a great job. You keep it real. I took my kids on trips across the Simpson and hay river tracks. There all a lot older now but still rave about how great it was. Better than the trips to the USA and Japan etc. Enjoy your travels as time goes fast.

I saw so many signs saying 'No Drone Zone' We have a similar van to yours (22'6" Bailey on roader) good to see you don't need the 3.5 ton "off-roader" that costs a packet

    Hi. Love your videos. Very jealous I didn't do this with my kids. Anyway we are retiring soon and have the Van on order. You keep saying to let your tyres down on rough roads. I assume its car and van you are talking about. How low do you go? Also what pump do you use to reinflate them? And how long does it take to pump 8 tyres back up to bitumen pressures? This is all a bit new to me so sorry if this is a stupid question.

    • @TripInAVan
      @TripInAVan  5 років тому

      Thanks for watching mate, glad you enjoy the videos. So dropping your tyres is essential for a softer ride on your van and also its better for your tyres. On sharp gravel or rocky toads we take all tyres to around 26psi. And then for soft sandy tracks we take all tyres to 16psi. It takes around 15-20 minutes to reinflate all tyres to road pressures and we use an ARB air compressor. Hope this helps.

    • @johnmartin-sg7cv
      @johnmartin-sg7cv 5 років тому +1

      @@TripInAVan That was quick. Thanks for the reply. I will get an arb compressor and follow your suggestions. We have done Fraser Island many times and dropped pressures to 15 to 20 psi but not towing so wasn't sure if tyre pressures of car and van were similar

    • @TripInAVan
      @TripInAVan  5 років тому +1

    Any video from you folks is a good video 🤗. Does your van have ESC? Getting a new van in a few months and the seller is recommending we get if fitted. Keep up the great work and stay safe! Are you heading as far north as Wyndham?

      Mark Gardiner cheers mate!! Our new van doesn’t have ESC no.. It is a great option though for safety. We will be heading through Kununurra, maybe Wyndham

      I lived in Wyndham for 2 years between 96 to 98. Used to fish the King River for Barras on the neap tides using live mullet. Aside from Salties lurking, the sandflies were really bad and you had to use heaps of bushmans and cover up to stop them getting you. Some big Barras there though. Had to laugh at Bec crapping herself when that Emu stole her plate of food lol in the video lol.
