Great video. I routed the longer speaker wire around the top. Just so the reception is better. This wire acts are antenna too.
Do these big speakers from the 50S create any discomfort?
Thinking to buy the same helmet but the cutouts do not seem very big
The Sena 50S speakers fit perfectly into the cutouts on the helmet with no modifications. There is no pressure on my ears. Cardo uses larger speakers on their JBL upgraded models that do not fit in the recesses without modifications. That is why I chose the Sena over the Cardo. Thanks for watching.
Great video !
What headlamps are on that R Nine T ?
@EllisonSierra They are Clearwater LEDs, one Erica, one Sevina. See the link below for more details on the custom R9T. Thanks for watching.

Love the helmet. What bike do you ride?
I have more than one, however the 2018 BMW R1200GSA is what I tested the helmet with. Thanks for watching.
Hello from State College, PA! I greatly appreciated this video as I was contemplating buying a new Sena 50S setup. I will be installing it in a Shoei VFX-EVO motocross helmet which has a very similar liner as the Hornet. Your video made it very clear that this shouldn't be an issue with the liner. Hopefully with the aerodynamic contours of the VFX-EVO the clamp will sit tight. Subbed, and thanks again!
I'm glad you found the video helpful. Shoei helmets are usually pretty straightforward to install com units. I have never installed a com on a VFX-EVO but I agree it should be similar. Thanks for watching.
