Even though I don't really have context for all the dlc stuff, or really most of the stuff with the main story since I'm still in the first Kingdom, a lot of these changes feel like they would make the story a lot more cohesive and full. Also, I'd never say no to Sumire and Darkechi getting... literally any screentime like at all. Also it's wild how Toshiro being in the Metaverse is just never really explained. Also I've noticed your Audio seems to get better and better with every video! Can't wait to see what you do next, keep up the great work, and congrats on 5.5K!
They did explain why he was in the metaverse, it was a last resort because he was so well guarded by Erina. Mr big bad could not beat Erina quickly enough for his taste, so he decided to go for our new favorite political figure directly.
ace attorney fans have delt with this too and how the rule of 'future games cant spoil previous games' is a major damper on the later games aa5 and aa6. i was never expecting to get third semester akechi or sumire properly, because to Atlus those things are still a big reveal in Royal and they're not going to risk anyone learning about it in tactica first... but it's frustrating and liming story-wise for sure. good video, i liked your thoughts! the game is overpriced imo but it's certainly fun for what it is!
Yea I certainly agree it's over priced. but the thing is, the whole Akechi and Sumire problem could be solved entirely if they just marketed this game (and strikers) as sequels to royal, which they provably are, instead of just being side games. thats literally all they'd have to do, if people complain about being spoilt by it then thats their problem, these games are sequels to P5R, it's the consumers problem at that point. Why deprive the majority of players from getting true follow ups so as to not spoil something for the small minority.
