I knew I wasn't crazy. I mean even though this is written in Japanese the context still comes across. I thought I was the only one thinking it was odd that the airport just opened up the same day and went on as business as usual. Something is very very very fishy here
Someone earlier in the thread said there was a motorcycle shop that suffered an explosion in Japan I haven't been able to find that particular source of where that happened but I'll be looking into it later on this week
I seriously can't believe how well made this bomb was that after 80 years it's still works! Try anything else made in the last couple of years and see if it's still works just a few years later
They're really trying to play this down in the media and believe it or not I went to the main news sites and it's not even the front page news either. They're actually reporting on some other news about a conflict happening someplace else that we're not really supposed to detailedly talk about
Those robotics programs can't come fast enough for Japan or China. These devices are sorely needed because they're a lot more ordinance out there that will explode in the future. It's best to have a robot do this then having a human risk its life.
I think that's why they're keeping this under wraps. They're not really talking about this much in the news cycle nor even posting it on other places and this I think would be a very high and story to publish but they really don't seem to be interested. I mean detonators can go off years later especially if there were faulty earlier on or they were jammed and over time they could have loosened up with rust or what have you but I'm not exactly sure how the detonators work, but this is all very suspicious indeed
I think the problem with these ammunitions is that some of the technology they would be using like radar or lidar or whatever it's called good possibly set the ammunition that's 80 years old off possibly just by the detection. I think they also use ultrasound and that could also trigger the detonation. So a robotic means should be used in the future and would be highly effective as well.
Now I've been trying to ask that question myself. From one I know these detonators work by some kind of mechanism where they function on impact from what I understand. If there is something that was damaged in them or stuck or rusted or something else, then possibly it just finally released or apart broke or rusted through this causing a firing pin to ignite. But that's just my best guess ordinance wasn't my specialty in the military.
And today there are people that legitimately think that nuclear arms are not even real. They still actually believe that their was just some very simple type conventional explosive used and both of these explosions that happened over Japan and said of a nuclear fallout. It's crazy but I think the whole world's IQ is falling day by day.
I also find it highly peculiar as well. I mean things do go off randomly all the time with age especially with these igniters getting as old as they are. I'm still actually surprised something 80 years ago is still working. I mean maybe not as intended I mean it had a really slow start of like 80 years but I guess it finally decided to go to work that day lol This must be one of our Mexican bombs lol Oh man I'm going to get in trouble!
Hey man Max I got to ask you a question, do you have any idea why they're trying to keep the story so low key? I mean it's not even front page news anymore and on top of that it seems like most the Japanese websites have been very hush hush about the whole thing.
Strangely enough? That's one way to make them go off which I know it seems counterintuitive but because any disturbance that is directly focused on these ammunitions can possibly make them explode. That's why in a lot of environments they use robots to go and find these things but again this will take quite a bit of time and as you know, time is money
Maybe it's just me but this sure doesn't seem like they're really interested in conducting a thorough investigation in the first place do to the approximately 4,000 that they dispose of every year. Something I did not know till I read the Japan morning post or NHK article just recently.
These bombs actually work 80 years later with a timer that's set for 80 years? Well it's possible I mean I'm not a ammunitions expert or anything but wow that's some crazy stuff.
I'm not quite sure about that. I mean under the ground the earth stays at a relatively stable temperature. I don't think temperature had much to do with it but of course I'm not an ordinance expert.
Money makes the world go around and pockets get lined. That's just how it is. Hopefully Japan keeps focusing on the robotics programs and starts making mining operations of these ordinances and takes care of the problem once and for all. I heard they actually dispose about 3,000 to 4,000 of these a year.
On a side note here I know the above says I see but the thing is I'm looking at what's actually written in Japanese and I can't believe you guys can even use this regular keyboard to type your language. It's just fascinating to me. No offense or anything In my meaning here, but it's just simply astounding to me that it's such a complicated written language and how it can be normally typed out on a computer
I'm no geological expert. However, I can tell you that ground temperatures remain relatively stable especially if this was buried about as deep underground as required where nobody would have noticed it there. I don't think this was heat related. Now I don't exactly know if these are based on a timer or if they are based to operate with some kind of large impact. If that is the case, then this is truly something very scary as many of these could be all over Japan. From what I understand they dispose of about 3,000 to 4,000 a year That's absolutely insane!
@@よしかわひでと-u3s that's how they get rid of these old ammunitions that are in the ground and with most landmines this is the only way to safely get rid of them. It seems counterintuitive but the process is to use something like a mine sweeper and he uses like a chain system where it almost the ground and when one of these goes off the chain system itself is the one that gets damaged and the machine just keeps on going. It's not really safe to use a human to go in and remove these from their underground places where they're usually buried deep in. Just emotion of disturbing it could set these off because after 80 years I mean that's something.
It does sound plausible however, from what I heard from other people that are actually Japanese in Japan they said that a number of these devices have went off over the years. One in a motorcycle shop and I forgot who said it up above but they said so.
I'm just saying something is very peculiar about this. I mean I understand that there are duds all the time but to me something just doesn't add up here because they immediately open the airport not to go on after this and it's still an operation and the media is almost silent about this like they were reporting on some kindergarten class project.

アスファルトを敷設する予定の場所には、土盛りをして、盛った土を固めて、その上に砂利を敷いたりとかって、幾つかの工程があるんだけどネ。
