Hi Jose, This information is right on and very accurate. You explain it in a very simple and clear way. I used to work for Scitex America Corp as an instructor, demonstrator, supervisor, and technical sales support. I handled input, edit, and output products. My main area of expertise was color management. All retired now! I do miss it!
Hi Jose super great videos you put out! I have a question how would I go about creating a custom profile for sublimation ink since this ink changes color when pressed I assume I must scan the pressed image what equipment would you recommend maybe something off of Ebay I can find. Thank You
Thank you. When I moved to a canon printer I had some left over Epson and hpnpaper which does not have a canon profile. I tried the canon equivalent profile but was not happy so I used your older guide and my old color munkie to create a profile using your previous guide. It seemed to improve the printing noticably. Now I am really happy.
Hello, do you still offer this service? I tried clicking your website but I see it’s not active. I have 2 paper types that I’d like to calibrate. How much do you charge to create an ICC profile for each?
Good day Sir ! So the day as come, my Pro1 is out of ink (the grey), and B&H has not been able to sell me the PGI-29 12 color ink tank set,(they are on back order for like 5 months now) like i've bought from the beginning of ownership, 5 years. I own like 8 empty sets. Might be time to give Precision colors a try. Cheers Dave
Hello Jose, I would like to pay you to make custom profiles for my printer. I clicked on the link provided but it does not work. Do you still provide the service? A response will greatly be appreciated.
Dear Jose, thank you for your lovely channel and your great content. I have a Canon Pixma Pro-100 and I'm dying to know how you did the estimated 26 inch by 13 inch. I'm new to the whole Canon family but I'd LOVE to print big panoramic shots that I shot with my drone. HOW DID YOU GET IN THOSE SETTINGS ON THE 26" VIDEO? WHAT PROGRAM OR APPLICATION WAS THAT?
You can do that from any image editing profile. I think I used Adobe Lightroom and showed the process. It's all done in the DRIVER. You create a custom paper size of 13"x25.6". That is the max. In lightroom I created an image CELL which gave a 1/2" border all around. I will rewatch that video and see if I have to update it. But I think it's all there.
I am trying to use Precision Colors Signature edition with Canon Pro 10. I thought we can use the profiles given by them and they should work find. I tried to do prints and they do not match with my calibrated Monitor. I see some color shift. Are we saying that we need to generate Custom profiles for this situation as well.
OK I and many other users of PC72SE inks are obtaining great results. I replied to your comment on my FB group and from what I can see I am not detecting a COLOR Shift problem which is what you would see with a bad profile. I am seeing a darker rendition which is common if your monitor is calibrated to bright.
@@cheo1949 Yes I always have my monitor calibrated to bright. I though it is color shift. So I need to recalibrate my monitor to Low light and then process the images ?
Thanks Jose. Each time I watch one of your videos I feel my understanding of the nuances of printing gets a bit better.
Thank you sir.

HP papers will likely be incompatible with Canon inks due to it's swellable coating but not the EPSON.
@@cheo1949 thanks. Is it the same for pigment and dye inks
Great info my friend
Thank you Chris!

Can't you just use the Adobe Color Printer Utility?
