Again a nice video. I have fun looking at your video’s now I am fighting cancer and have not be able to surf for a year now. But I will beat this F decease💪🤙🏻 and hope to be on the water asap
@@Nico_GER7 it would be nice to meet you. Steendam is to far away for me. I live at the south of the netherlands. But I will folow you on youtube and use your tips en tricks when I’m back on the water, because that will happen.
Hang in there brother, i am fighting MS and couldn’t windsurf all last summer. Windsurfing kept me motivated and i was able to get out for a couple short sessions in the fall. I am hoping i can get back on the water in a few weeks. Windsurfing is a powerful motivator and having a goal to strive towards is powerful in healing our bodies! Good luck I know you will do it!!
Awesome to see a seasoned pro still get so stoked about a great session! Excited just like a beginner getting in the straps and planning for the first time! Thx
Awesome video! I also like that you showed some of the worst moments of the first day in Pozo so people get a good feel of the good and the bad times. Had I known you were going to Arinaga the day after, I'd have come too! Great to see you there anyway
This is excellent video, very nicely put together. The right amount of sailing content vs road trip, background info and joking around. Drone footage is always spectactular but also the POV view of your gybes was great, I also like the slow-mo gybes. Always great to see Bjorn, what a legend!! Very enjoyable to watch.
Once again Nico a fantastic video showcasing so excellent new gear as well as an insight into a pro windsurfers lifestyle, most of us can only dream of. Excellent buddy and please keep them coming 👍🏼👍🏼
Can someone please comment on the variable shelving (racking?) system that Nico uses in the van (look at 00:58). I would love to know where I can buy such system.
Who Nico that drone is killed ai... 😅😭 And you have to know that Roger and I @ Egli where quite jaleous about your Mavic Pro 3. 😋 Nice movie still with the rest of the footage. Still got the master Gybe.😍.🤙
Nice video and great footage, I really hope this wasn’t the “cine” version €€€€€€😱, and the Mavic 3 flies fast in gps-mode with sensors enabled... / and by the way who’s fault that was ? The pilot of course 😃, poor Lars😅😅😅
I was thinking about buying a jetski or a boat ( as cheap as possible) to have fun and explore places on my island (puerto rico) and I had a windsurf board, mast and sail but had to sell it all because my trucks ac went out and had to get it fixed and it went out again... But here I am now thinking I should go through with it again since having a cheap jetski is very un reliable and a boat is way to expensive, so I might windsurf and explore puerto rico!
Great videp, keep on!! I really enjoyed the footage in Pozo! Maybe some fin recommandations for the new isonics would be interesting! And I would be very interested in your first experiences with and a comparison of speed watches:-)
Gotta get myself a speed watch! I used Björns in Gram Canaria. For fins I still need to do some testing but it’ll probably end up 32cm for 63 and 37cm for 73 (both Chopper). Although 38cm could work as well.
@@Nico_GER7 Thanks for the fin recommendations! Regarding speed watch I still use a Locosys GW-60, which works great but the accu is getting weaker and weaker so I'm looking for a proper replacement which should also be easier to use.
Absolutely brilliant as always Nico. I went for the 22 67 Isonic at 80kgs so we will see if I have made the right choice when UK slalom series begins. Good to have you back 🤙
Hey great Video, and hey a water start video is coming as wished in an earlier comment in an other video! THANK YOU! One question: the straps on the boom were pretty wide in one footage (two hands or so). Why is that?
I think Christoph meant the harness lines being very far apart on the boom. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is Björns preferred setup to have them a bit wider apart than usually recommended nowadays.
@@M.Bo. Yeah, when you do speed sailing you tend to have them a bit further apart (or a lot, depending on preference) to increase the stability of the sail.
Tolles Video. Danke dir Nico.
Awesome vídeo!! Was missing some action from the Nico Team!! The New boards look fast and in control!! Would like to sail in Arinaga for sure... No Pozo for me 😁😁
Let me know if you need a Thai translator next time. I mean I'm not very proficient but I can speak it well enough to get us to the beaches and the bars.
Seit ich 2000 aufs Kiten umgestiegen bin, war ich praktisch nicht mehr windsurfen. Dein Video macht wieder Lust darauf. Fritz Kola mag ich überhaupt nicht.
Praise in public, criticise in private. Not a bad management style, Nico. Beats saying "let's see who to blame" on the vid. Made me uncomfortable. I can understand your desire to succeed, but you hired the guy, so if he fails it's because you have too. How about "let's see what went wrong"?
One day packed into 5min. A bit hard to judge from that, don’t you think? We both already knew who’s fault it was, because we were able to speak before we came to the car and switched the camera on. So instead of saying it’s your fault I made a joke about it. I’m fine with not trying to squeeze employee Management-Seminar-Knowledge into every sentence.
Und? Wie war‘s Lars? Also ich fand es super, ein sehr schönes Erstlingswerk. Ein Speedbattle mit dem älteren Herrn hätte mich interessiert. Der ist, glaube ich, genauso alt wie ich 😉

Wasn't that actually Bahia de Formas, just between Arinaga and Pozo?
Sau geil!

Does anyone know what app/website was used at 1:30 for the wind forecasts?
Windguru !

I see you moved the footstraps to the front a bit on the 63. Is that because of the conditions? Would you place them further back in a race

I think Christoph meant the harness lines being very far apart on the boom. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is Björns preferred setup to have them a bit wider apart than usually recommended nowadays.
