I remember the old buses fondly, but also remember moments like 2:18 being common, with plumes of absolutely stinking exhaust spewing out the back of trucks and buses as they tore through the city centre. There was a manky bang of sulphur around town especially during rush hour. Much as I dislike the inconvenience of the NCT, it's great that cars aren't driving around with rust holes and bald tyres anymore.

That much smoke was not normal even back then. Something is wrong with that bus that needs fixing.
