I ran into Daniel Romano during his Early Country period, only recently discovered he had a punk iteration before that and knew he’d been a ‘folkie’ before that too. Finally Free is a work of Psych Folk Rock genius and he is to my mind (I’m a recording artist too), a bona Fide Earth shaking genius. More people need to know about him. And we need more people who won’t be fit into categories that others feel are for some reason required. He’s stupendous.
fantastic live two weeks ago. Im still reeling
This guy does no wrong and surrounds his brilliance with more brilliance like these two amazing women.
What a take. . . . no wonder for the smiles at the end.
Thank you.

They are all wonderful- beautiful rendition of a great song. I love the smiles at the end of the video too. So sweet :)

What happened to this guy ,why did he change his image he was country now he thinks he's a mid sixties folk sing with a bad haircut
He's a shapeshifter.
To be fair he was also a mid 60s country artist
I love that he won’t fit into peoples idea of what he ‘should’ be like, or the haircut he should have..
It takes creative noise to keep up with him, so expect 80% of the world to be scratching their dull little noggins.
Just shut up. He's pumping out loads of amazing music that rivals any of the greats, and you're on here talking shit about his haircut.
You're about 10 years late on that bud. Long live the protectors of the pearl.
That singer deserves much better. 😅
"Wild Horses"?
Horrible
Get your hearing checked post haste.

cool
Why do you think it’s horrible
@@mikejunior5825 the guitar sounds thin and tinny like a child's guitar. The cords and the strumming are so basic. Like someone that's just learning how to play the guitar. The melody of the song is just not good. The lead singer's voice and singing style is also not good. They sound like a high school band that just wrote their first song and they're playing it and their high school auditorium for talent show.
