Kate - there is a Kindle Version as well!!! I bought both so I wouldn’t have to trace off the patterns. Kennis sends you a code to download the patterns. YAY! Great review by the way... Hugs from Oregon!
@@ladylouise1969 Here’s a copy of the email I got from Kennis which shows how to get the “secret password”! Enjoy. Hi, I know that some of you purchased my new book, Sew Beautiful. Thank you very much! However, It has been brought to my attention that the eBook/Kindle book does not have the link and password to download the patterns. It is supposed to, but it doesn't. The publisher and distributor have fixed the problem on their end, but unfortunately, from the retailer's side, it might take a few days for them to update. They might do it right away or it might take them a few days, depending on their refresh schedule. I know you can't wait to get to the patterns, and I am also eager to see your creations. I have been given a link and a password to access the PDF patterns. Please reply to this email with your copy of the eBook receipt, and I can send you with the link and the password. Thank you again for your patience and your support. I know that some of you experienced frustration with the support of the retailers; I am truly sorry. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience. Regards, Kennis Itch-to-stitch.com 500 Westover Dr #12323 Sanford North Carolina 27330 United States of America
I have now bought the Kindle book and there is a link in the book to obtain the patterns. I have downloaded mine. I have to say, though, I am underwhelmed by the patterns but am thinking of altering some. Open shoulder? Definitely not for me (I get a rash with the sun on my shoulders) so I plan to try a tulip sleeve with that. For these reasons I bought the Kindle version as I feel the print version is not worth the money for me.
So glad to get this review and even more happy to see your smiling face! Stay healthy and safe please! From Minnesota USA where the snow flakes are gently floating around today.❄☃️🦌🐰👍
Thank you! I need to get this book, I’ve made a few things and learned to sew when I was a child. It sounds right up my alley and I do like the pictures of the patterns.
"...full on Burda"😁 This book is in my Amazon cart. I've used a few Itch to Stitch tutorials and they are so well written. Thanks for this review and have a Happy creative 2021
I love itch to stich patterns, and ordered this on pre-order on Kindle as soon as it came out on Amazon. Can't wait to try all these patterns. Thanks for the review!
Happy New Year! This book looks great - a really high proportion of potentially wearable patterns for me. Love the attention to details like making the patterns easier to see. Some expensive indie patterns are so badly printed that it's a guessing game about which line to follow.
Itch to Stitch has great tutorials on their website. I too like that the diagrams are large and clear in this book. Unfortunately, I only like the jogger bottom pattern here. Otherwise I would have been very tempted to get it. I think PDF patterns would be nice to have with the book so you can either print and stick together or send to a copy shop. Great Video as always Kate. Thank you so much. Watching your videos is my treat.
@@maryblaylock6545 Most of the ITS patterns have cup sizes but this book has patterns that don't have darts, have more relaxed fit so possibly we can avoid having to do an FBA. I made the Mornington dress without an FBA
I thought that was the problem with this book, though- is drafted for b cup? That's why I wouldn't buy it. Goes sensible patterns though. Like her stuff.
Cold shoulder tops, waterfall front knit cardigans and a selection of other styles I've seen many times before: the patterns are so dated and disappointing. A shame as the layout etc do look good.
This is a great book review and the book instructions etc look really helpful for a beginner but the patterns are pretty poor and certainly nothing that is not already been done better elsewhere.
Another release with no real size inclusivity. I refuse to give any more money to pattern companies/designers who choose not to see so many sewists as human beings worthy of their designs.

Thanks for telling us. I was wondering how one got the patterns with the Kindle version.
I bought the Kindle version from Amazon-how do I get the code from Kennis??

Good to have you back, Kate! Thank you for keeping up inspired! X
I have made three of the patterns so far! Excellent drafting. Love it.
Happy new year! So glad to see you back in my subscription feed. Very informative video, thank you ☺️
I’m underwhelmed by the patterns in this book, there’s nothing new or exciting in there. Thank you for sharing!

Happy New Year Kate, I am waiting for my copy to arrive. I can’t wait. Have a great weekend Val ❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧
I was on the fence about this book because there were so many unanswered questions on Amazon. This video changed my mind. Thank you so much!
Great to see you back.
Lovely book, beautiful patterns. Its a good capsule wardrobe. New Year Kate x
Happy New Year Kate! Always enjoy your videos 📹 . Good quality book and great price on Amazon. Shall be getting it! X
Her patterns are superb with fantastic instructions so I am definitely tempted to buy the book. Thank you for your review 😊

Omg!!! 😍😍😍 I just ordered the book an amazon and it will be here tomorrow. I love all the patterns except 1 I’m not keen on. Totally good deal!

Thank you so much, I definitely need a copy of this book.
Really good reveiw. I've pre ordered it as it's released on 18th Jan. Thanks.

I love that her patterns include various cup sizes, so no FBA to struggle through.
I did NOT know THAT! WOW! Thank you very much for the information!

Thank you Kate! Happy New Year! I really appreciate your showing us the patterns and photos but the back and forth made me a little seasick, lol.
Thank you Kate! Take care.
I got the book when it came out... so nice!
Can you suggest a sewing book that actually has plus size patterns, that go up to a size 30. That would be so helpful to so many of us.
The itch to stitch patterns now do plus size on the website up to 40 (mountain rise jeans, antrim dress, crystal cove, the book was made before that
You're lucky to have a copy. I pre-ordered mine 8th December and still no sign of Amazon delivering it.
So glad you showed the patterns - saved me wasting my money buying the book, thanks.

Nice review. Have you been sewing lately?
An overhead camera would be nice. Thanks for the review.

Looks like a great book but she’s not size inclusive which is a shame x
I noticed most books aren't. Do you have a suggestion of a good one that has plus size patterns. I've been desperately looking

Looks like there is a lot of help and detail which is good, but the patterns are so dull and old fashioned. Nothing new to see here folks.
