searched for houuurs for a video showing a technique that is intuitive and applicable ANYWHERE. i have a one year old puppy who just gets TOO excited ANYWHERE. THANK. YOU.
Thanks for the video! The only thing that I didn’t get from it is how to use it further. I mean, let’s say my dog is overly excited in the street when it’s not safe - how do I use the exercise? Just sit on the leash in the middle of the street? Or is it the first step to some other exercises?
This is a great exercise and one of the first we learned at ARGOS. We still do this exercise every morning on our structured walk. My Declan is a very high energy beagle and learning to sit quietly has helped him overcome anxiety and over-excitement when we're out sightseeing and traveling.

Awwww baby DD!
Love this exercise! You taught to my partner and pup in the puppy K course, and it has been SO helpful when we are out!
Such a great video!!! We promise to sit on the leash more often.
Please do!
