I knew Anita Morris around 1971. We were friends and in THE AMERICAN MIME THEATRE. She was very competitive and a hard act to follow but down to earth is some ways. INCREDIBLY TALENTED
Thank you for posting the incomparable Anita Morris in the Eubie Blake tribute. She stopped the show at the Kennedy Center, just like she did every night in the orignal production of "Nine." I was thinking of her today when I saw stills from the new movie version; I simply adore Anita Morris, a goddess of the stage and screen. Thank you again.
I really loved Anita, as a performer, and a person. I don't know if you recall, but i had the privilege of meeting her years ago in Las Vegas. This is Adriana Carlisle. i never put my name, but this is special. It will always be one of my most treasured memories.
Whenever Anita Morris took the stage, the audience was witness to a force of nature the likes of which we have not seen again. Really, really special. Soooo nice to see this!
I only saw Anita once in "Nine" back in 1983. Unbelievably talented, beautiful, sexy, and probably one of the most unforgettable scenes (A Call from the Vatican) ever. I play the CD to this day. Still miss her!
@groverd So fun to see this video of Anita. I am so proud and thrilled to see Badge on "The Pacific." I had the pleasure of being one of his teachers at Wonderland - still have a letter he sent to me when he was filming "Lord of the Flies." I would be glad to send it to you. I am on Facebook - Carmen Dean. I have such great memories of Anita and Badge.
Talk about star power! She absolutely deserved a Tony. What an electrifying personality! Maybe she was considered too sexy to win? They released doves at one point during the production. I went to Sardi's afterwards. What a day!
LOVE this woman! Just the right amount of sexy, playful, and hilarious. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Plus, those pipes! Good Lord! What a voice she had! This clip is a true treasure and showstopper!
gorgeous gorgeous woman, She Was Hot was one of the sexiest things I ever saw when I was 15 and here I am still looking her up. Didn't know she had all the singing talent, my my.
Is'nt this the same number she performed on Johnny Carson's desk, in front of him, in '82 on the Tonight Show?! Best performance ever by a female on TV!
I just watched Ruthless People on cable. Everytime I see it I think of her. She was quite a talent and gone far too soon. I can never see Bill Pullman as the president in Independence Day or as Meg Ryan's fiance in Sleepless in Seattle without thinking of the moron that he played next to her in Ruthless People. I think that this is one of the most underrated films ever.
And.... Name one female who is all natural. Make up. Shaved off eyebrows that are drawn back in. Heels for height. Hair color. Straightened or curled. Padding.

Seeing all these clips of Ms. Morris makes me think the role of Carla in NINE must have been written for her.
She would have been the PERFECT Poison Ivy in a Batman film.

Jessica Rabbit
how 'bout her music vid w/the Stones 1983 "She Was Hot" tune? I was hooked!
Many of these same qualities are found in Leslie Ann Warren
southern bells are the best..... she was the Queen of Sexy
Amazing. She exudes such sexuality, and then blushes when her modesty is compromised. Few, if any, women today could pull that off. (pun intended)
She had that combination of sexiness and lady-like demeanor missing today....
i don't know about the rest of her body, but those are breast implants. i saw a before pict. in a mag. once
