First off, congrats on getting this adapted for Netflix! Reading Dept. H on a monthly basis was brutal because I kept wanting to know more and more even when the series wrapped up. I also ended up picking up the hardcover volumes and reading it that way from start to finish was a completely different experience. Seeing the water level rising on a monthly schedule does not compare to seeing that thing shoot up with the binge. 😬 Overall, I really dug how you and Sharlene poured all this attention to detail into every page and panel of Dept. H. Seeing you flip through it had me wanting to go diving back into it. Might I suggest having you go over the second volume with Sharlene, if she’s willing? Might be tricky, but I am curious to see how each of you approached creating this awesome series. Looking forward to more breakdown entries! (Maybe going over 3 Story or Revolver?)
Thanks a lot for the insightful video. The two books of Dept H. were after a novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez the first things I read during our first lockdown, finally having the time after I guess quite some time of having them on my shelf.
