Got a huge question for you hope you read and get back to me. So I have about 6 season on handcrews and volunteer firefighter work , and looking to see if you may know some one who needs a hand on a engine or tender ?
I’m Interested in becoming a water tender , getting fire certifications and my cdl this month . Just wondering what the pay is like for the water tender position. Thank you !!!
That was really interesting. How does one become a water tender? I hauled all kinds of liquids from oil field, lime, concrete, sepitc yuk, was curious.
@@ZiaMountainAdventures nice. Well I’d say just start trying to link up with local fire companies in your area and see if you can get an in with a tender! All word of mouth maybe try posting on facebook also.
It's probably pretty similar material but dont know. The brand of the tent is a Shift Pod. You can look them up, they're pretty great if you're going to be spending a lot of days in a tent like myself.
really appreciate the video. I've been water Tender op 8 years, and I've uploaded some short videos, but as you mentioned a few times, it's not easy to make yourself take videos when you really get busy day after day. You just wanna do your job! But when I was just starting out I wanted to find EXACTLY what you have produced here. I'm sure this will help others. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Depends on where you live. Also you need a lot of certs in order to get in an engine and definitely need a CDL to operate a Water Tender.
Saw you out on the bootleg fire i was on a hand crew out there
Cool man! Where you out of?
I remember Bootleg lol

@@dmac2attack823 in Oregon I’m seeing anywhere from around $400-600 per day for a good tender op generally speaking

I am really sorry but that is not a crevasse. Crevasse is a deep open crack, especially one in a glacier.
It was a joke. I’m sorry but you shouldn’t take life so seriously.
