I go to art school as well and lately I’ve been feeling really stressed about how much productivity it is but watching your video makes me remember why I love art, thank you 🧡
Timed art is always a good time. I finished 31 pieces in 14 days in September. I did that to get a jump on this month. 40% of them ended up failing big time, so I'll do 1 a day for a while, until my soul recovers from the loss haha.
Wow, thats insane!! Yeah its so great to work at it every single day and really commit. Some of my works turn out really good when I work fast, and others need a lot more time and detail. Its nice to play with this though!
i graduated from this very art school a couple of years back and I'm pretty sure your studio is the exact spot I had mine in!! until the rona had us kicked out lol. gotta love drawing with Bill
This was in my suggestions, and I'm so glad I watched. It felt so calming and inspiring. This has also inspired to try and think outside the box more with my art, since I've been stuck in this loop hole of always drawing OCs instead of just creating for the sake of creating and enjoying it. Thank you for sharing I'm excited to check out your other videos now 🥰🥰🫶🏻
I think so a hidden artist inside me is now awake after watching this video I got a keen desire to become an artist thank you so much I'm too much inspire from your hard work thank you so much for giving us such an amazing inspiration Love from Pakistan 💕
You I have a book recommendation! It's called "The Image to Come: How Cinema Inspires Photographers". I found it at my school's library, it's a little expensive to buy, but it's very fascinating and might help you in your research! I'm also a second year (fine arts), and I've incorporated this book into my own research for an upcoming show. If you do end up checking it out, let me know what you think!
thank you so much for the recommendation!! Film is a massive part of my artist life and that sounds perfect, I’ll look into it asap. Thanks again for watching and for the amazing recommendation 🦋🦋🦋
Omg this was me for the longest time! I am so messy. But towards the end on the term I was putting a lot of trust in my apron hahah! Thank you for your comment! ⭐️🖤
omg thank you so much!! 🥺 out of curiosity, which is your favourite/favourite style? I have so many different styles and trying to figure out what my audience likes to see! ☺️
@@indyapearceart I loved the women at the end, the pink piece with the nature around and the one linked with photography, they looked stunning ! Otherwise the cube was also very art deco, I loved it ;)
What’s the stuff you sprayed on the paintings? Some type of varnish? This video was so inspiring to watch. Working alongside you on my own assignments was a joy!
Do you prefer parties...not the ordinary one, I mean Costume party or any big event just for the combination of this Photography and Painting...💗Because it's Beautiful. I like it. Do you love listening to loud music when you're meditating Indya? Yes,me too...Avant Garde type of song lately.'Loveyou🎶💗
I am interested in teaching! Would love to work on my art practice for awhile and then eventually do my masters in education. Thanks for your comment!!
thank you for your comment. I am painting with Oils! I love oil paint, it’s really nice to blend and layer. It takes a little bit of practice but I definitely recommend!
Thanks for your comment! I actually use lots of different supports when painting but my favourite is definitely primed ply wood or wooden boards from the art store. I also use stretcher bars and unprimed canvas to make my own canvases at uni/home. Let me know if you'd like to know anything else!
Its hard to make art when a job takes so much of your time! Maybe set yourself some time during the week to do what you love! Thanks so much for watching :)
What I find outrageous is that people such as yourself spend so much time in school and classes learning techniques and simply mastering these mediums artists try to harness to create something that is an imprint of your legacy and an inspiration to many. Then there's ludicrous 'contemporary' artists who sell their so-called 'art' that's literally scribbles and then it somehow sells millions. Such a depressing industry, we need more people to protect traditional art and retain values so that 'art' doesn't turn into literal trash in the future.
Women don’t have to sexualize themselves to get ahead in the art world. Don’t sell yourself short with the creating in your underwear thing. Women artists especially are trying to advance.
This is a clear case of quantity over quality - something no-one bothered to warn the YBAs about. Do a Damien and destroy the lot, only you can forget to make them NFTs.
GOD IS CALLING YOU!! Jesus loves you and wants to be with you. Turn to him if you haven't or come back to him if you left. He can and wants to save you, deliver you, and set you free. Don't worry about how you are now, give up your sins, surrender to him fully, and change your ways. We don't have much time until Jesus comes back. It is past time to wake up and now is definitely not the time to play. Make your decision now! You are not being forced to do this, but for the sake of your soul and how you spend eternity, Jesus is the way to go! Remember God loves you and I love you very much! God bless you! 💖
As a procrastinator this is beyond impresive
I am a serious procrastinator too!! I’m happy that I enjoy painting though so that helps a lot!!

In college I lived in my coveralls. Paint splatter and sloppy AF, I loved it. It terrified me to wear nice clothes when in the art department.

no, I predominantly work with oil!! Oil is definitely my favourite 😌
Haven't stretched a canvas for 20 years, so much easier just buying them already stretched 😝
I do agree, but there is a certain level of enjoyment I receive when stretching!! I mainly paint on wood anyway haha!

Why everything in art has to be nude?
I enjoy painting nude bodies because I find the human body so fascinating and beautiful 😌
