Nearly getting eaten by squids and being tickled to death by skeletons, Jefftastic set new sights on settling down as a farmer, getting a new companion, starting to cook and the most important of all, our hero has unlocked automation via the power of wind! The songs you used were a bop to listen to, love your content man.
really enjoying this series, i appreciate you showing the mod for what it is, and not dramatizing it like recent let's plays have. i really hope you end up building a proper home too, in a lot of new series, people just stay in a dirt hole the whole time. i've only seen like, two people build a house in their series.
Loving this series bro. You somehow manage to make a Better Than Wolves play-through a relaxing watch. It's your voice and vibe mainly, along with your competency playing. This is my go-to series right now. Making an old man very happy. Props.
what i love about this mod is how well it fits into minecraft. The textures match with the art style or use pre-existing textures, and all the sounds are re-pitched minecraft sounds and all that makes it feel so minecrafty. really love the series, keep it up!
10:37 Joke's on you, Tip 37, I do that regardless of whether wolves are better! …And then I never find an excuse to use so much as half of them. Wouldn't have thought to jury-rig Redstone Blocks as a stopgap light source. It's always interesting to see how new restrictions force you to consider aspects of the game you wouldn't have otherwise. (Really tangential of me, but I've always found a similar appeal in the classic Nuzlocke's "Only the 1st Pokémon of every Route". Rest In Peace, every single regional bug/bird/rodent Pokémon I grew disproportionally attached to before they died almost immediately,) Only 1/3rd of the way through the video at the time of typing, but still enjoying it as much as ever!
Nice vids, man! I, honestly, like your calm voice. You are not the one who would be so "generic energetic" like some popular youtubers do. Keep it up and good luck to ya! P.S. I've tried BTW and dropped it after 56 deaths, so yeah..... good job
If you're playing around with linux, you may want to try and set up some backups while all backup options are expensive, there's one I can recommend (no need for additional drives, very low size) btrfs filesystem + timeshift for context, when copying a file on btrfs, it is physically still one file, but linked to in two different locations. The moment you edit one of the files, it then makes another one. So it copies your entire system (/home optionally excluded) to an invisible place on the disk, which btrfs keeps the track off. Backups take around 1gb it works ootb on ubuntu on Debian you need a bit more trickery with renaming the root filesystem, changing it inside EFI config files etc. The only thing that's going to kill your system with backups like that is drive failure. Additionally, with grub-btrfs, you can even restore (boot) into those snapshots from grub, so say goodbye to no-boot after messing with nvidia or something
I've heard a lot of good (and interesting) things about BTRFS, thanks for sharing this knowledge. I didn't think people would read into an offhand comment like that, not that it's a bad thing. It's cool there are fellow Linux users in my community. I'll have to look into setting that up, I was already having a fairly stable experience on my install (about 6 months strong) but I was looking for alternative distros to Fedora, mainly out of concern of Red Hat politics. I have my personal data on a separate partition so it didn't take too long to recover, but still long enough to throw a wrench into my schedule
good progress! wonder if we'll be seeing any tanned armor soon. maybe even an iron chestplate..? btw, if you have the inclination to do roadwork, cobble slabs placed on the terrain is good it takes fucking forever to do, though, and a lot of cobble, espy if you're far from spawn like i am... might be good enough to just have some pillars between this base and the spawn base, for navigation
I think they should add GPS witch crafts with map, soulforged steel , soul urn and nether star its locates to all your death locations it shows coordinates, at what block you are staying and at what block you're aiming It should be rechatgeable with station and energy from wind mill or water mill
yaknow, I always wondered why yall were so scared of squids, turns out, they dont REACH OUT TO GRAB YOU on relaxed no wonder the peeps in the discord always tell me "dont do that" when it comes to ocean travel, lol
I feel like you are too established in the new place set up to fully return to the spawn base. Maybe whence back at spawn grab all the valuables you can and bring them home, the new and current home.
I’m planning on having easy travel between both, but primarily building up spawn. I know that might seem weird, but spawn is the best spot since its always locatable by compass and stays loaded in at all times. I’ve got the tools and the drive to build it up, no worries :)
Unsure what you mean. I don't have enough storage space on my computer for me to hold onto raw footage... I do plan on streaming soon though, which would technically be raw gameplay
I’ve debated on doing so, I like the new changes but I’m unsure if its a good idea to show off something thats still in development. The devs say its stable enough to use though so I’m going to give it a go next episode, if theres genuine issues with it I’ll just switch back to 2.1.4
Those are dragon orbs, and they spawn when a mob is defeated by anything but the player. Wild dragon orbs are pretty useless but later on you can use a vessel of the dragon to convert dragon orbs from a mob farm into normal experience points
Fedora Linux 🤥 I was trying to switch to OpenSUSE, but didnt like how poor it’s Wayland support was so I switched back to Fedora. Still looking for alternatives, I like Fedora but I hate Red Hat. Maybe I’ll bend my knee and look into using Arch
@@_viwty Oh man, I wish I had enough time and patience for Gentoo. Kudos to you, though I've got my limits and I need to have something reliable and usable at the end of the day.
