This was so good! Anyone else get throwbacks to the Bottom of the River video vibes from this?
My very first thought!
I was going to ask if this is the same srt/location as Bottom of the River. Any response, DR?
@@YankeeFiddler13850 yes, this is the next part of the Bottom of the River story! Not the same location, equally haunted though 😏
It reminded me of Kaleo "Way down We Go". Excellent fare!!
It's like in my opinion almost a vengeance for accusing and then hurting them even though they weren't " bad , bothersome" witches. I couldn't imagine the damned if you do damned if you don't sentiment of witches in the times of olden Salem. Beautiful souls we are but don't f* ck with us for no reason or it's a hard lesson learned !
Head to toe chills. Completely obsessed with this new chapter in the witch's story 🖤🖤🖤
Hello Kendi, hope you’re good 😌👋
I’m obsessed!!!!! Incredible as always. The dancing, the outfits, the witches! Love the call back to ‘Bottom of the River’ with the reflection!
This is what drew me to delta, that bottom of the river vibe. Please make more!!!
god delta rae music videos never miss!!!!!!!
I used to be on Twitter and always told everybody about this band... They are ageless. I love that everyone sings their own songs too. Y'all rock! Still one of my top 5 faves!!! I'm so excited to hear your newest!!! Definitely didn't let me down! As if you could!! I love y'all! Miss talking to ya'll too!! Keep em coming!!
I am so THRILLED to see this follow up to 'Bottom of the River.' it's so haunting and inspiring at the same time.
Delta rae this kind of group who deserves more attention! I really love their style! This song and the music video is so amazing. And it's why i like Delta Rae.
All the love. Especially for the part how at the beginning the man looks like he has the upper hand and then he has just a second in the frame, not being able to escape. He would've been unharmed if he hadn't tried to harm her...
I first came across Delta Rae when Bottom of the River came out. I’ve loved them ever since. If I Loved You is absolutely heartbreaking.
The story, the set, the choreo…the fierce badass witches!! Jaw dropping. Phenomenal.
Lady Hecate, tri-partite maiden, you who is granted a portion of the three realms of the Brothers, and of the Land held in common, praises be unto you, carry this song and image across far distances, between people, that they may also know Thy power.
I MISSED THE WITCHY SOUTHERN GOTHIC VIBE OF DELTA RAE! ❤😭
Again, I'm continually fascinated by Brittany's witch character. And now Liz has a developing one, as well? I'm looking forward to this evolution. Also, is this the first hint that the witch has a coven?
So witchy! Love it! Beautiful dancing too.
The necklaces!?! Delightful.
oh, OH!! Amazing progression int hte video!!! Follows the lyrics very nicely. The phrase "Let 'em/him(?) know that we're coming" encapsulates it perfectly! It's dark, ominous, dangerous. Especially the "we" and the woman coming out of the burning house.THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS!
BRITTANY 🔥🔥🔥
Well, I'm already at the edge! Who's joining me?
keep having to come back to rewatch!!! loving the throwback at the end with the reflection blowing out the candle 🖤
Excellent Video! Love the single shot aspect of the camera work once the title came up. Another great Southern Gothic Revival vibe song by Delta Rae.
I'm a big fan of 70's and 80's, quite disillusioned with most modern music. These guys are an exception. Fantastic harmonies and some killer hooks. You;re never quite sure what you're gonna get from Delta Rae, but it's always good. For those just discovering them, check out 'Scared', 'Out of the Badlands', If I loved you' & 'Dance in the Graveyards' (and of course 'Bottom of the River')
SO GOOD!!! CHILLS!!!!
I'm more into 70s/80s music but you guys are one of my favorite bands. That rocky spooky vibes reminds me of Fleetwood Mac (another one of my favs) and it's cool to see actual artists bringing that back. Congrats!
OH HELL YEAH!!! I can not wait for the rest! I have missed you guys. ooof ...chills
I love the idea that Liz’ character is the same from the Bottom of the River video as well, that someone she once viewed as an enemy she then called on for help and was welcomed with open arms. About to go buy some red, black and white candles. 🤍🖤❤️
Don't forget there's now green also 🖤🤍♥💚. Which makes me wonder, did Liz's character go Back to the Garden before or after this video? (Also, it is my headcanon that "Mama keeps the dogs out" is referring to the Witch protecting her family.)
Awesome! 🤘
WOW WOW WOW
OMGGGGG IM SO EXCITEDDD 😩😭💞
So good!! Beautiful as always.
Goosebumps!
Delta Rae never disappoints!
Wow!
Can't agree more with Kendi's comment about chills...straight through me. No one ever does that to me more successfully than you guys and authentic Maori Hakas!
OMG! so good.
First time hearing one of her songs. Im here after seeing the ad on Instagram. Im a fan now. Great song! Great video!
Can someone please explain to me the meaning of the symbol they make at about 1:33? I've seen it other places, such as Paris Paloma and Kiki Rockwell, but I know I've seen it before, but can't place where or what it is or why it seems so familiar.
It looks like padma/lotus mudra. From google: “this hand gesture is said to inspire purity and perseverance by representing the lotus flower floating above the muddy waters of desire, fear, and attachment.”
@@kiwisandsprinkles8947 Thanks!
Can't wait! 43 minutes and counting~
Amazing !
💛 Thank You
Love it!

HYPE
My god, this absolutely rules.
I love the idea that after she nearly got executed a decade ago, she's got her own coven and has been rescuing/recruiting new young women. That's so fun.
OMG I WAITED FOREVER FOR THIS AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! ❤️
The Q U E E N of witchy vibes showed up for Halloween this year, we have been blessed.
Fantastic!
SO GOOOD!!! Loved the lighting on the house 😈😈 v spooky
I have one of your songs on one of my playlists and i forgot about it until a few minutes ago and fell in love with your voice all over again, so ofc I had to come to your channel and listen to the rest of your songs. I subscribed immediately, you're literally amazing!!!!
Well damn y’all.
Between this and Bottom of the River, I think they;re only a couple videos from a really good witch movie.

"The Beast" is on our latest studio album "The Dark" available everywhere, thanks for asking!
Sergei Rachmaninoff,John Debney and Royal Scottish National Orchestra
That was really cool. The girls have turned to witches, but who cares? It's interesting art.
The beast is not a person
Can somebody post the lyrics?

wondering what happened to this band...nothing new in almost 2 years... =/
This is not a bad song and video, but it just feels like someone was trying to do another "Bottom of the River" (or improved version of it) instead of something new. The attempt to have a single flow of the camera just fails for me. I'm not sure if that was just an artistic choice or to avoid extended editing to piece together a full video.
I don't see it as another BotR video, it feels more like a follow on from it. The witch that we have in DR's music started out in BotR and in this video it feels like she's back and taking other witches under her wing. But that's just my take on it!
this is a new chapter in the story of the same witch. which is all leading up to the bands upcoming southern gothic musical/album “The Ninth Woman” which is ALL about her, where she came from and where she still is….
weird
I was just seeing bottom of the river because i was reminded of it and wanted to check hoe's the band doing and the first thing i find is bottom of the river pt.2 awesome.
