I know many adults and seniors who work at McDonalds.
And we all know a child,,that eats at McDonalds, throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way, lies, when caught in the cookie jar, and poo poo his pants when he gets upset, but even a bully can run for playground president.

Not to mention every time he brings this up he is belittling every American who is currently working or has ever worked anywhere in that industry. By making fun of her, “sweating over the fries”, and then speaking (non coherently) in a condescending tone about her working there, he is mocking everyone in the service industry. By criticizing his constituents who work these jobs, that help keep America running, he shows his true colors and that he couldn’t care less about them. It just goes to show how out of touch he is with the people he claims to protect and care for.

Okay so here’s the thing about that, because I lived it I always say there’s a version of me that would’ve voted Trump.
My first election I voted McCain it’s been a loooong road to get this far left 😅
But at my most conservative I was making 6.75 an hour (min wage was 6.15 when I started I was making an entire 60 cents more than minimum wage listening to talk radio hating on “those lazy poor people” sir you are one of those poor people!

I worked sanitation at a potato processing plant on the weekends in high school. It was disgusting smelly work. It gave me a deep respect for osha and unions.

I have a graduate degree now but I worked at a chicken processing plant where my job was to pull the guts out of a freshly killed chicken that was going by hanging on and the assembly line of hooks, a tortilla factory where I cut and stacked tortillas by hand for 10 hours a day with just three small breaks and felt like I had gotten a promotion when I was transferred to the hot plate where you spin tortillas by hand on a hot griddle wearing just t h i n cotton gloves, a Hosiery manufacturer, Taco Bell, Burger King, and night shift doing the heavy duty janitor work in a hospital before I finished with a lot of stops along the way including being one of the toughest jobs on the planet which is a certified nursing assistant in a long-term care facility. those paid better than the Burger King but people just have no idea until they've actually tried to live on even a CNA or factory workers job Jerry the factory work paid the best but you could also be laid off in a heartbeat and at 1:49 I had to defy the boss to take a woman to to ER who was 5 months pregnant and hemorrhaging. Both of us rest our jobs and I was in the biggest risk because she had some legal protection. That's what it's like and no benefits because they'll work you just short of the number of hours required to get benefits and then lay you off just enough hours per week that you don't qualify right when you are about to and probation and have benefits. I could go on and on but you all who have done that kind of work know exactly what it's like and so the fact that Kamala makes it clear she does not but that she's fully aware of it shows integrity.
Working a service job builds character, which he has none of.
It is truly sad that Trumpets belittle this. Trump was born with a gold spoon in his mouth and didn't need to do what many of us had to do to make money and survive.
Anyone who looks down on someone for what they do is wrong. She definitely never worked there, she looks down on those workers, that's why she's claiming she did work there. She lived in a 1.5 million dollar house in the richest neighborhood of her Canadian suburb. She wasn't raising kids and she didn't need a job. Her parents made 450,000.00 a year. My first job was at McDonald's. I was paid minimum wage, $1.69 per hour. In todays dollars that would be about $15.00 per hour.

I love when she carves out space during rapid interview questioning to highlight something that’s been unconsidered.
She wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth, she has worked the same jobs we have at one point or another. And she has first hand understanding of what that means. They’re hard jobs and they don’t pay well, because the company isn’t under any law to raise the hourly wages. Ignorant people say, “well, then they should’ve gone to school” the reality is, college is expensive, and not everyone has the ability to go to school. And school is not as accessible everywhere. The college I work at is very accessible and flexible and they know that life comes first and school comes last. They work with you with resources and financial help. And actually, the students who just graduated high school most recently, and are going into this particular college, gets free education. Because they want more people to succeed in life. Not every school is like that. Harris gets that.

I could not have worded that any better than your words. I have worked many jobs in my life from fast food to Corporate Advertising being in charge of multi million dollar accounts. Yes, VP Harris understands and gets…it’s not easy and people are working hard and aren’t making enough to support themselves let alone a family. Same here. 65, retired, want to know the rest of my life will have as few worries as possible. I also want it to be a better world for my adult children, and my toddler granddaughter. Kamala understands this. She'll work for us.
I’m 61 and very much agree! The last few years have been so chaotic and scary, I hope my kids will be able to enjoy life a bit more and worry less about their futures. I really need things to go back to some level of normal with respect to chaos. Here’s hoping when she wins we can gradually start to look forward to things again.

I never worked at MCD but I worked from age 11 up until I was 18 chopping and picking cotton . My first public job was at a Sea Food Restaurant my Senior Year in High School. My siblings and I had to work .
