  • On this episode I will show you how to CHOP & DROP/ PULL & TOSS. Plus watch what happens when you do this lasagna layering technique which helps build your soil with organic matter and utilizes resources, prevents water evaporation, protects insects, fertilizes tree, saves money and time, etc. Most people don't realize also that these plants can actually regrow themselves even if they are looking bad in containers.

Great information! Hello from Arizona zone 9B! we do the same to build our soil. we try to compost everything we can and use our heavier stuff as mulch. our bio life seem to like it and provide our trees, vines and bushes with nutrients!

I don’t agree with chop and drop. I tried it and got tired of all the stuff just laying there and not decomposing. And not to mention it looking bad. So now I just compost everything. I’ve been composting for thirty years now. No more chop and drop. I’d rather have a nice tidy garden.
