"They don't make em like they used to" is a cliche phrase but man is it ever true in a lot of cases. My grandfather has been using the same Monarch Aire box fan since the 1970s without any issues, yet this modern fan breaks after a summer or two.

I own a Mathes Cooler fan that was made during the 1940's and even with quite a bit of cosmetic wears like rust and thick dust on the wood of the cabinet, it still runs strong so it's true indeed.

@HuskyDog88 Repairs on the fan was not possible. Because of its value in store, it was best to be replaced
