If it's a racial protest against police brutality, why sit out the anthem? You know how in sports people pretend to care about the city and the fans? Well, all of those cities and fans are Americans and they are shitting on them by sitting out the anthem. It's all very symbolic and emotional. If I was a leftie, I'd blame them for dividing the country and all that. I am not a leftie and just wished they would use their words to articulate protest. I can understand both sides and believe the players to be misguided on that one. They actually have wide-spread support for the cause of equality in both parties, but attacking the anthem/flag isn't about race. It's about the country and that's wrong. The system isn't racist and the laws aren't racist. People need to take responsibility for their own faults, as they do for their success. I want to know which actual problems a rich, law abiding black person has in the US. They should SPEAK UP and not sit down. There are way too many racist black people giving FOX News their little snipits right now. It's a problem that blacks think that their racism is fine and the spineless dems enable them and even applaud racist speeches, if it's perceived as a reaction to oppression.
