I don't think their goal with this job ad is hiring someone. It's so that they can say they can't find anyone therefore getting an H1-B slave is justified.
Facts, bro! This is the American Corporate excuse for getting H1B visa workers! We, Americans, can't live off of those wages presented on this video by Joshua!
I have 12 years of exp, here in Canada, I received a call to work in a Canadian company and the hiring manager asked me if I have education and Indian work experience to work here in Canada, they know I am not Indian, and I never been to India. Do you know why?, We couldn't find a qualified Candidate please provide the LMIA :( For that reason we have high unemployment rate.
I'm suspecting when they treat you like a child, it's because they are trying to put you in the psychological mindset where you won't ask for adult things. eg. raises, respect etc.
We are all witnessing the 21st equivalent to being sent to the Gulag! This is a country wide, stealth knowledge purge of those that were not groomed or earmarked for senior management roles, but 100% know what senior managers are doing day-to-day, including actions that are both illegal and unethical. If everyone that “knows what’s up” are no longer able to find equivalent employment they are effectively silenced and are considered “dead” as knowledge workers, most won’t recover and as a result will never “be heard” ever again regardless of what they have to offer.

Love it! Call out more. I am at the other end - and dealt with ageism in a long job search/career change just 2 years ago. I lost count of all the low ball offers, ghosting after interviews, and no response... and all the horrible job requirements.
I've been freelance since 2005. And I haven't really done any real work for a few years as I've been helping my old mom out. So I'm pretty much dead to the world now. No more jobs for me.
interns are not allowed to do any work that can financially benefit the company; you cannot say "intern" as a means to not pay or underpay someone. its only meant to give ppl hands on xp with doing ancillary tasks that mimic industry responsibilities, they're not supposed to use the product of intern work to make profit. but in reality, every company does the "unpaid intern" and dangles the promise of "work yourself to death for no money and maybe in a few years we will consider paying you entry level wages" laws only exist for poor ppl.
Pretty much this. Everyone's electric bill went up. Mine is $150 and I live alone and frugally. . . No way someone in cal isn't seeing double that bill as I live in a bottom 10 cost of living state.
Man!! This video is 100% facts!! I've been in IT-Tech going on 8-years and 8/10 jobs I get emailed by recruiters is a garbage, trash paying job!! I live in Los Angeles, California, and the IT-Tech jobs that are available, and not fakes, pay crap wages! SMH!! Great video, Joshua!
Seriously! Also, to add insult to injury if you commute from a more affordable part of LA. Culver city is off the 405 in probably the worse traffic area in LA.
Videos like these do make me wonder about the future of the 9-5. Garbage job listings, dry promotions and then companies wonder why employees are not as enthusiastic about working. Sad.
Maybe I'm out of touch, but I clicked on this video fully expecting to hear about a motley crew of trash truck drivers standing up for justice, fighting against small-town political tyranny, and taking back their city.
Socialism, the time for UBI is now, otherwise young western men will starve considering how nearly all jobs are getting offshored or H1B plus the increase in productivity from AI will reduce the need for workers as the global population keeps increasing.

I’ve applied to this job because the job market is terrible and I’ve been rejected, can’t even get an interview, because I don’t have a degree despite 10 years experience. I hate it here. LA is burning down and a company wants to undersell employees and teach property owners how to legally price gauge.
