    lavender essential oil is soooo much better than fake lavender "scented" stuff! just a few examples of uses for the petals and essential oil:
    1. i am allergic to fake perfumes, scents, bath oils, etc.; however, i am able to use the essential oil;
    2. in bath water, this essential oil is good for your skin;
    3. the scent works on your brain in a way that is great to relax you, and if you get tension or migraine-type headaches, and you use the oil at the first signs of a headache (such as, with migraines, before smells start making you nausious), it can help reduce the time of and/or completely get rid of the headache (note: peppermint oil also helps get rid of headache pain, as well as general muscle aches);
    4. if you get the edible variety of oil, or edible petals, it can be used as flavoring in food or to make lavender tea (which i love, especially in winter), and the tea can help relax you so that you sleep better;
    5. a few drops on your pillow or mixed with water in a spritzer to spray on/above your pillows/bed can also help with sleep.
    this is just a little bit of what real lavender petals and/or lavender oil can do, but don't expect any help from the fake scented stuff. also, there are at least half a dozen types of lavender, and the different types work in different ways and are good for different things. also, mixing with a variety of other essential oils expands its usefulness. 30 or more years ago i purchased a thick dictionary on homeopathic aids, and it has several pages just on lavender.

      Steam distillation uses 2 chambers.. 1 boiling water on bottom and another chamber with plant over the boiling chamber.. The boiling water steams past the plant and continues into a catch.

Our offer includes preprocess(dryer /grinder) ,coating machine ,package machine and process systems where the substance used as solvent is either a volatile hydrocarbon (butane extraction), an alcohol (alcohol extraction), or CO2 (supercritical extraction). Given the investment cost, complexity of use, and extract quality, each system has some advantages and disadvantages.

    The problem is most products containing "lavender oil" are purchased from a bulk producer and then combined with all sorts of additives. So you rarely, if ever, are getting pure lavender oil. Lavender oil if it's pure is safe to consume. Check your lavender oil bottle and see if it says, "Do Not Ingest" or "Not for Internal Use". You have to ask yourself, if it lavender is safe to consume then why isn't the essential oil from it OK to consume...

      well it's pure oil and drinking any essential oil organic or not is something you shouldn't do

      Not true. I take several essential oils internally everyday. In capsules, water, tea, I even cook with them.

      @richardmaroun2117 8 років тому +4

      Oh, well they are talking about people who might literally drink the essential oil without putting it in anything

      There's nothing wrong with that, either. But I'm talking about a drop or two. The main factor here is the purity/quality of the oil you're using. If the bottle says "Do not ingest" or "Not for internal use" on it then you have a low quality oil.

      Francois Senecal-Tremblay JR I mean, they tried to rebel and be their own country, but 51% of votes were to stay as a province of Canada and 49% of votes disagreed. I would still count Québec as Canada
