If people wanna know why he changes to missile view every now and then, its because speedruns are timed based on the amount of frames. Switching to missile view in some segments prevents frame rate drops that slow progress.
I had this game from 98-01 and played it nearly every day. Just watching this bring back memories from an awesome game, even though it's been a decade since I have seen this I still remember everything from watching you.
I have only flashbacks of this game as I was so young. I remembered that red truck and trying to clear the road in front of it but that was too vague to search for and find this game. Such a weird universe. Glad I found it after about 10 years.

This game was awesome. The soundtrack was perfect. I remember the objetives were so hard to acomplish until you tried enough times to master it. You thought platinum were impossible to get, then later you realize you are about to get all of them. Very satisfying finishing difficult almost impossible missions. In old times Rare made the best games.

+I'm Helping I actually liked to play as the dump truck. I didn't love it, I just liked to get long combo strings. However, the diamond sands level was bullshit.

at around 42:50 you're at Oyster Harbor, switching the camera to missle view. I'm guessing there's a glitch or something that lets you destroy those quickly? What are you doing there?
I´m trying Platinum now. Have only completed three of ´em! This video looks like a cracked version of the game or something... Looks easier here than on my N64
Taro Kuroyoko All the smoke and explosion sprites can kill the frame-rate. Switching to Carrier view when possible prevents that and saves a bit of time.
How come you quit Havoc District via the menu as opposed to using the truck like every other main level? I thought you needed to use the truck to get the game to save your progress.

I was obsessed with this game as a kid. Have no idea how I had the patience to complete it. Painful.
