      Over time athletes- Pro speed baseball- My son is a 16 catcher throwing 1.98 pop time. Do you believe in in Throwing velocity throwing programs using a series of weighted balls from 2 pounds, down to 2 ounces. I'm a fan of the weight training, arm care, shoulder strengthening, scapular stabilization, triple extension exercises , power clean , Core strengthening activities, flexibility, hip shoulder separation etc.......! The weighted ball throwing program makes me a bit nervous for shoulder and elbow injuries! What is your opinion in this topic.?

    great video and it clearly displays the elasticity and athleticism you have... could you do a full warm up stretch routine? stretching in sports is so undermined... especially with recreational sport and gyms...

  • @MachCitius
    @MachCitius 5 років тому +2

    Try to maintain dorsiflexion during the single bounds. Plantar flexion dissipates that stretch reflex and hinders the transfer of energy. Plus, you’ll end up with shin splints pretty quickly and I think we can all agree that’s no bueno. Solid list other than that!

    I know you're more "on the field" sports kind of coach, but I'm sure the same, if not similar principles apply to MMA. That being said, could you do videos on exercises that could help explosiveness for both upper and lower body, in terms of MMA training. Punching, Kneeing, Kicking, etc.

      SNK vs CAPCOM SVC Chaos always do a drill for like 5-10 secs i'd say (not more than 8 reps, some even say 5), sets of 2-4, long rest periods between sets, always go 100%

    how many times should a football player who trains 6 days a week be doing these per week? Also does this help with acceleration? because I love Skilling past players but need the speed to create more time for crosses or shooting etc.

    • @bigchainring1977
      @bigchainring1977 Рік тому

      Hopefully your football speed got better.. I personally would say start with one two times per week for these plyo exercises.. yes they will help your speed..
