This song came out 16 years ago, and whenever I see a small beautiful moment, the phrase "The day's only clear for a second" still always comes straight to my mind
Two things break my heart concerning this band. One, they are ignored by the main stream music industry because of the dominance of rap and # Two, the weakwilled so called music critics who have fallen in line with issue #one.Shame on you.

Wildly underrated and one of the greatest unsung rock songs of all time!
So right. This video is so hitting right now.
"Underrated" in your opinion.....
agree - this band should have been huge. Some of the greatest rock songs of the last 20 years.
Perfect song...perfect album.
god damn! this song gives me goosebumps.
chord change one of the coolest ever.
My favorite song from one of my fave bands. And they opened with it at SXSW a few years back when I saw them. I was speechless.
Great Band. Miss Them!
The lyrics. Wow. Who else can relate?
I play this song everyday, acoustic or electric, whatever...
This is the song that got me into this band 10 years ago. I still watch it regularly. This is their BEST SONG!!!!!!!
One of My all time favourites
whenever i see these rooftop performances, i wonder how hard it was to get the drum kit up there
Why doesn't this have more views????
It is sad that this group is so under rated me and my fellow Thermal fans should try to get Stephen Colbert to give them the Colbert bump.
You're going to be disappointed in 6 years. I discovered my disappointment a few days ago. RIP Thermals

First heard them on an episode of 'Weeds' a few years back ('Here's your Future') 'The Body,The Blood,The Machine' is absolutely superb👌
Sub Pop was the record label they were on at the time.
Great effort. Sounds fresh still. Anyone know when this was recorded?
Sup Pop is the record label they were on...
i think the bass rig is a little bit tougher.. :P
It's part of the style of the band. Soft distorted guitars, Telecasters basically with a proeminent bass tone.
Did the cops run up to the roof and shut down the concert like the Beatles and U2?
Proper Order!
Kathy is sooo fine 😍
Fine? Fine?! KF is pure Fione! Smiles and styles to the wondrous and love of awesomeness.
Probably with a cargo elevator.
