I don't understand why are outdated concepts like these are still taught are still coming in exams. Most of the electric meters today us solid state components and measuring ICs. Even if some rotatory types are available in the market, they will soon be replaced by digital meters. Education system in India is outdated. This is the reason we import chinese meters to be installed everywhere. Utter stupidity it is.
