Simply Beautiful Paper Poinsettia DIY / tips

- Would you like to learn how to make paper poinsettia flowers that will embellish your Christmas card or other craft projects?
After watching this video you will be able to make gorgeous paper poinsettia flowers! I am experienced flower making teacher and today I'm sharing with you a technique that work every time I create my paper poinsettias. In the video I share important tips that will make your flower making journey easier, but if you still will have any questions, do not hesitate to ask in the comments.
Paper poinsettias are 'must have' in my studio before Chtistmas, I use them for cardmaking, when creating 3D craft projects like a whishin well I made last year, I also use them as decorations.
Creating paper poinesttias doesn't require any special tools, the products I'm using are probably in every craft room :)
Over the last few years I made many of the paper poinsettia flowers in various sizes, colors using various techniques but the one I'm showing today is my favourite!!! It is a simple way that will work every time.
The key is in few things:
watercolour or artistic paper 160gsm, you need paper that absorbs water and will not tear when wet
shaping tool to create interesting detail on the petal of your flowers
combination of those 2 is a key to succes :)

Awesome flowers. I was wondering what guage wire do you use to pull the stamens through the hole. I love all of your videos, but do you have one that shows how to put the wire on the bunch of stamens before putting them through the hole? TIA ❤

I’m a big fan of yours❤, I really like your way to show the flowers making process smoothly, and you tell the components you used before you start, I want to get starer kit to try making some flowers my self.
What kind of pastels should I use, I found variety of them in Amazon.. oil, chalked.

thank you! For paper flowers I use inks mostly or Gelatos - pigment crayons by Faber Castell - these have beautiful colors and can be used on foamiran too!

Mam pytanie: czy można użyć papieru scrapowego do takich kwiatów? Jest on grubszy i zastanawiam się jak zareaguje pod wpływem wody?
Witaj! Mi się z papierem scrapowym nie udało uzydkać takiego efektu, po pierwsze to mi się rozwarsteisł pod wpływem wody i także jakoś tak ‘puchł’ 😁 być może trzeba by przetestować różne marki? 🤔 pozdrawiam, dam znać jak zrobię jakieś testy 😁
@@EmiliaSieradzan Wydawało mi się, że niektórzy robią kwiaty właśnie z papieru scrapowego, ale z drugiej strony pomyślałam, że przecież jak się nakłada wodne media, to trzeba najpierw zabezpieczyć papier jakimś podkładem 🤔 Może łatwiej byłoby z papierem 190 g, aczkolwiek nadal mam wrażenie, tak jak piszesz o swoich próbach, że papier się za bardzo rozmoczy... jeśli udałoby Ci się potestować, to ja chętnie posłucham/poczytam o efektach 😉 Pozdrawiam 🤗
