Thanks so much, again, for another helpful video! I own the 570 with the BSR. I have used it, but did not realize you could control it with the foot peddle. This is going to be a game changer for me. Thank you!
I just purchased this exact machine and because of the crazy MICHIGAN covid lock downs they are not able to do much of an educational session with me. Today I have been nervously trying to understand this BSR but getting frustrated because I couldn't understand the differences between 1 and 2 or why you would use one over the other. I must say that YOU have made this very clear and I am now headed back to my studio to bravely carry on and master this baby! Thanks so much for your clear instructions and explanation!!
Yes Covid has made it so difficult in education too. I am so happy I started making these videos last year to help all of the BERNINA family worldwide learn and expand their bernina knowledge. I am very happy I was able to help you out learning your new machine and master the 475!!! :)
Hi this is the first I heard about this new Bernina what are you putting on and is that included when one buys this machine and do you know whether this machine has a special quilting foot included? Sorry about all these questions. I’ll watch this video from the beginning again later. Hoosier you can help me with my questions.
You don't have to do anything special with the foot peddle to use it with the BSR. When using the foot peddle with the BSR whenever you press down on the foot peddle it turns on the BSR but you must continue to hold down on it other wise it turns it off. But remember you can also use the green start stop button on the machine. I would recommend using BSR mode 2 when using the start stop button though.
Hi there Cody and Pete - May I please ask where you purchased the Sew Steady table? Are there different models for different machines? I'm thinking yes. Also, where might I purchase a 0mm stitch plate? Thank you!
Hey!! So the Sew Steady Table should be able to be purchased from your local BERNINA Dealer or you can call my shop (Sew This 985-898-1112) and we can get one shipped to you. Tell them you saw the video on youtube and get free shipping.. and the 0mm stitch plate can also be found at any BERNINA dealer ;)
I thought I could buy one of the Bernina Machines, but I want prices and everyone wants you to call them with some secret price they give you. I don't have time to call every dealer isn't there a standard pricing for these machines that we can expect?
Cody, you give the best instruction on the bernina.

Thanks so much. I had the BSR for four months and was afraid to use it. Now I am gonna try it!! Great video!
Awesome! I am glad I was able to inspire you. Now just remember practice makes perfect. :)
Great job of giving an overview of the BSR. Thanks for another great Bernina video Cody!

I’m looking to purchase this sweet little machine in the Kaffe Edition to compliment my 770 QE. I need a traveller machine and I think this is it
I just bought this machine and I really like it so far.
This was a great demonstration
I had thread nests on the bottom with mode 1.
Very informative, thank you very much
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the video 🥰
Great video. I recently purchased a Kaffe 475. Can I use the BSR foot from my 880 on the 475?

Does the 3 and 4 series have the oscillating or rotary hook in the bobbin area? Or do any of the current line up have the rotary hook?
Can you use Bsr along with foot 72s doing ruler work?
Do you think you need the dual feed for quilting?
Where can you buy the stitch plate?
Is the foot pedal automatically in sync with the BSR or do you have to do something to connect?
