Your son needs Samsara 1 month calls, lots of them.
A special message to Josh's son: DIS, ADP, YUM, UUA
Stocks extended their year-to-date rally following the CPI report, with the S&P 500 last up 0.8% in afternoon trading. but I don't know if stocks will quickly rebound, continue to pull back or move sideways for a few weeks, or if conditions will rapidly deteriorate.I am under pressure to grow my reserve of $250k.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.
I actually subscribed for a few trading courses but it didn't help much, been getting suggestions to use a proper financial advisor, how did you go about touching base with your coach?
It would be a very innovative suggestion to look out for Financial Advisors like Natalie Noel Burns who can help shape up your portfolio. Trying times are ahead, and good personal financial management will be very important to weather the storm.
I greatly appreciate it. I'm fortunate to have come upon your message because investing greatly fascinates me. I'll look Natalie Noel Burns up and send her a message. You've truly motivated me. God's blessings on you.
Happy Birthday Josh - compound crew killing it.
Getting my Friday fix of the Compound ,the best financial podcast out there !!
I second that! Great show I look forward to watching.
Happy Birthday DownTown Josh Brown! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳✌️🥳✌️🥳✌️🥳✌️🥳✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
I've been trading stocks with a broker and I've pulled in over $840k. my investment was diversified between top performing dividend companies.
You make a valid point. My 170k last year has grown remarkably since trading stocks with my FA, Ann Marie Celentano. I recently crossed 900k. It's an approach I recommend to other investors.
Searched on google for this lady you mentioned and I'm impressed by her performance. I really appreciate this recommendation.
Best cold opening ever. Dad, you really don't know anything, do you? I died laughing.
I feel like I ve heard this before. Dad, I thought you were good at this. My response," No, just better than the other guy."
Died laughing
@@rachelfintwit5813What a treat to see you Rachel! First time I have seen you comment.
I have waited for a year and a half for this episode. LOL Im so excited to watch.
Love to hear it! Ryan was great, you won't be disappointed!
absolutely Josh. NVDA isn't just a chip maker. It is MSFT, CSCO, and INTC, wrapped into one company in the 90s... and I may still be understating it. That was a scary, powerful opening statement by Jensen.
that's why big tech will be less inclined to keep giving them billions upon billions in the future
Just another fantastic show. Literally laughing out loud, learning and loving the interactions.
I watch all of The Compound end of week shows here on UA-cam. Always insightful and entertaining. Great chemistry as always and Ryan did not disappoint. Keep up the greatnwork, guys, you're A#1.
Great show. Love Josh Brown’s down to earth, witty, and sometimes slightly acerbic delivery. Also love Lex Friedman so it was interesting to hear that Josh manages to invest the time required to listen to some of those interviews.
CNBC NVIDIA earnings preview - Scott: “Stacy Rasgon, on Josh’s point, he set it up absolutely perfectly~” Josh (almost as soon as Scott had finished uttering “perfectly”): “That’s what I do Scott”. Don’t know how Scott managed to carry on with a straight face.
Saw that and had the same thought. Classic.
Best show on YT
Thank you!
Hands down
You guys are the GOAT, hands down the best investing podcast on youtube
Killing it guys, Happy Birthday Josh
Thank you!
I gotta say it again...Best Intro Music Ever! You should see me dance to it! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳✌️✌️✌️✌️

@@CLOUD_NZ Bullish on The Compound and Friends too. 🥳🥳✌️✌️
You dance to it? You should see me dance to it. I put a hole in the wall! My kicks are vicious.

Big shout out to Josh for the reco on Lex Fridman’ Bill Ackmann podcast. Excellent and inspiring.
When Josh talks I listen. When Michael talks I shampoo my hair. Jk I love both of you
Happy Birthday, Josh! Best wishes from Germany!
Another great show! Happy Birthday Josh!
Happy Birthday Josh! 🎉
Great episode with lots of great detailed information and entertainment at the same time. Happy Birthday Josh!!
I just thought of why the crabs pull other crabs back that are trying to climb out of the bucket. It's because they are shellfish.
I never knew you were a comedian, Cliff
@@TheCompoundNewsUnemployed comedian, for obvious reasons. HBD to Josh!
Hey guys, your show is amazing. Thank you for giving us financial information in a fun way. I am always waiting for your next episode.
Excellent show loved Detrek’s commentary. Level headed similar to Josh. If only more people would be like that
Most intriguing ,thought provoking & filled with optimism, insight.
Tham you for bringing Ryan Detrek.
Crab theory is so true. Josh’s Interpretation is spot on.
Happy birthday Josh 🎉
Awesome - absolutely awesome show!
Happy birthday Josh!
In all sincerity, with the hundreds of thousands of podcasts on UA-cam, Rumble, .... none is more fulfilling to me than The Compound! Great job!
Best financial show right now and its not close. Love the content. Happy birthday, Josh!
I was born under a wandering star ⭐️ I can’t stop singing this since listening to your guest ( for some reason)
Marvelous open!
Happy Birthday Josh! Thanks to you and the crew for the incredible content each week!
Ryan rocks! love his perspective.
Thanks for watching@
Excellent finally landed Ryan. I loved listening and watching him at LPL. His correlations are so creative and interesting.
Great vibes and great guest!
Technicians make the best shows by far. No BS. JUST FACTS! Much better in comparison to to those funny-mental guests.
Agree with the Ackman podcast episode, I was mesmerized for 3 hrs. Great show!
Great episode! Detick was a great guest! Will def check out his pod. Cold open was hilarious 😆 Favorites section was one of the best!
Nice job as always guys
Nice!
❤🎉 Party On! 🥳✌️🥳✌️
Someone connect Michael's screen to the main display. Why doesn't Batnick have sharing rights? 😂. The laptop pick up is 🤪
💯
Cuz Duncan has to make sure Michael doesn't throw up 100 charts
Happy Birthday Josh. Great show, look forward to every Friday.
Great job Ryan and epic t-shirt!
Happy Birthday, Josh! Fellow Pisces - it figures. Keep up the stellar work!!
Fantastic show!

JB, the crab story summed up in 3 words: misery loves company.
Bill Ackman Lex Friedman interview was ALL TIME! He’s not lying it’s so good!
Kudos. Great show/flow. Ryan D is great.
Rocking show today! RD is awesome.
Awesome guest as usual!
I understand the hype for the guest.
Edit: I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Another informative and entertaining Compound and Friends episode. Ryan Detrick was a fabulous guest (even though I am not technician investor). And a huge Happy Birthday to Josh! (I'm a February baby, too, born on Feb. 7 and turned 72 this month.)
Happy Birthday Josh. Ryan was awesome!
You guys crush show after show after show. High quality stocks, high quality real estate and high quality crypto HAVE TO GO UP as they inflate away the debt. Stay long 🤙
Josh cracks me uppp
Ray Dalio - “It’s…nineteen thirty three..it’s nineteen thirty seven..”
😂😂
To us " compoundes" you guys are rock stars
Always solid content from the Compound. Love that Josh’s son says tell me what to pick so I can win… 90% of adults in the markets are still saying exactly that
another great show guys.
Great podcast guys
Thanks for watching!
Happy Bday DJB! I hope you enjoyed the day. Any interest in getting someone like Michael Saylor on the show?
I've loved Ryan since Schaeffer's waaay back in the day... Super smart guy
Happy Birthday Josh and totally spot on about True Detective Season 4
Ryan needs to be a regular guest.
Happy birthday JB hope hunt and fish was great 🍰
Great guest
Thanks!
cold open was great!
Thank you!
I wonder if you would ever consider having Lyn Alden on. She seems to run in different circles than most of your guests but her breadth of knowledge is extraordinary. Every time I see her on a podcast I feel the same way I do when I watch Compound pods: much greater understanding of markets and investing. Just a thought.
Loved this episode! Love Ryan!
Thanks!
Hi Josh Michael Nicole and everyone
Happy Birthday, enjoy n be safe, we need ya,ll.
Blue ribbon show Everyone. Thank you this Saturday morning 🌄
Happy bday JB
Happy Birthday Josh!
"Let's go Champ" - Happy B day Josh
Great talking guys.
great show thank you guys
Y’all are killing me here. When the guest gonna get more air time then the hosts!?!
I’d agree but I don’t want Josh to be mad 😂
😂😂😂😂
@@Jaymans29 we need to get Duncan to lay down the law and steal the fx board while he’s at it
Agreed. But Josh don’t come at me. 😂
Thanks for the show guys. I will be the bear in the room. I think we are very very close to the top right here. Really all we are waiting on is the 3 month / 10 year yield curve to reinvert. When will that happen? Not sure but that is the cue to get out of longs. Could we go higher? Of course. The higher it goes the more massive the crash. Just like the Great Depression, Dot Com bust, and GFC. IMO we are getting ready to have a liquidity, collateral, and credit crisis. I also think that everything everyone owns is worth half of what they think it is. We are already seeing this in Commerical Real Estate. The next crisis we get, which will cause the start of the stock market crash, will most likely come from Commercial Real Estate and Banks being insolvent. The other risk is an itty bitty little Ai accident. Or say NVDA gets caught "cooking their books". I mean ENRON did it right?
@@JC-nl3nhI’m genx I hate boomers they ruined it for everyone
Fear is the way to the Darkside
A chip manufacturer claiming they will lead all software inference and AI build seems dubious. Great chip and genius pivot from gaming; but software is a different ball of wax with different set of competitors.
Happy Birthday Bone Crusher !!!
Bill Ackman x Lex was dope af, great mention Josh
Happy birthday JB ❤‼️👀🫶🏽🔥💸
I don't think we should allow Micheal to comment on True Detective anymore. Season 4 was great unless you can't be pleased by anything. Josh is right, you watch it in the dark without a phone. Great acting.
I love Ryan 🎉🎉🎉 hope he is doing well he gained a little weight.
Love the TShirt🎉🎉🎉
Happy Birthday! My birthday is on the 28th and I am older:)
Haha😂 - how old are you, Sir.
You'all have too much fun!
Damn!!! That’s moose strike category badass!
Dietrick!
Josh was spot on with the “crabs-in-a-barrel” mentality. It’s also a good indicator of an individual’s lack of emotional intelligence.
For SURE ! In my view Plus 200 % From Here !
When people ask your age just tell em what year you were born. Let them do the math. Much easier. It’s hard to keep up on your age the older you get. It’s real.
Ha, I think I will do that from now on!
Great show! Probably the best finance podcast! Love almost all of your guests.
You commented that someone w kids is likely to have a better sense of the economy, implying yourself. Not sure accurate in your case w an income of $1mm+ or at least in too 1% and living in suburban NY. Don’t you live in your own little bubble just like myself being 70 living in suburban Boston. I typically agree with most of what you say, but that gave me a pause to be honest.
32 Year old, and all my investing is based on anecdotal observations. the more people in the gym the lower the market goes, when the bench is open at 6Pm on friday, we buy risk.
Yes you can JB - you read the books and know the long game is what is proven to work.
JB out there telling his boy to go out on leverage buying SOXL and selling 30% OTM CCs out 3 weeks (for max theta burn) against it. (Wouldn’t have worked Aug to Oct, but would’ve since)
This makes me so bullish. Income rose 1.3T. How is that bearish?!
