Island Hopping from Kauai to Oahu

We leave Kauai behind for a journey of just over 100 miles to the next nearest Island, Oahu. We land in Honolulu and are immediately shocked at the difference between here and our beloved Garden Isle. We're not big on cities, so we head around the coast to escape the hustle.
Tomorrow we accomplish the reason for our visit, experiencing Pearl Harbor. Enjoy our short adventure along the coast as we take in the beauty of such a wild place.

I was stationed at Schofield Barracks for 6 years and second your opinion of Honolulu 😂
Oahu does have its own hidden treasures but they definitely aren’t in the Waikiki/Honolulu area
If you two ever get back over there, the Pali Outlook and the drive along the North Shore from Turtle Bay to Hale’iwa is breathtaking this time of year with the huge surf that can develop.
Lanakai was my place of serenity for many years!

So many memories I lived on that island for almost a year there’s so much to see. Hanama Bay, Diamond Head beach, Waikiki, Waimea Bay some of the world’s largest waves happen there north shore. Glad to see yalls video enjoy watching your channel and great video.

Yeah Honolulu is a massive tourist trap. Lahaina was one of my favorites but it is gone now thanks to the evilness of govt and other greedy people.
