      I thought there were a couple of calls that could have gone the other way that hurt the packers. But I will freely admit the lions have gotten massively screwed multiple times against the packers. The Hail Mary pass should never have happened. And a couple of ticky tacky hands to the face penalties in another game let the packers move down the field to kick a game winner.

    If you watch Campbell on sidelines he's always in control, He's never moaning and groaning about the refs, his focus and his team's focus is just on what you can control.... That's a winning attitude!

    Lions and their fans are acting like they own the ring already. Haven’t even gotten to the dance and they appear to be crowned. A lot of injuries and I believe that forth down mojo doesn’t really work in the playoffs as the Lions have learned. Window closes quickly. I expect the Lions to 4th down themselves out of the playoffs again.

      Not they aren’t. Simply pointing out the irony of the packers talking g about the refs missed calls. This happened to Detroit for decades and you very well know that. Just play better! Sound familiar? You also lost to 3rd and 4th stringers.

    The only thing that I don't understand is, when a quarterback takes a knee, that becomes a play and the clock keeps running. But yeah the quarterback trip took a knee and yet was able to hand the ball off?? shouldn't have the play been called down?

    • @seanofthedead3076
      @seanofthedead3076 6 днів тому +8

      when they are taking a knee/sliding, they are giving themselves up and ending the play. that's why players get penalized for hitting a sliding qb. with this play, the qb wasn't intending to give himself up, so its treated the same way a receiver who caught a pass and fell over is. until a defensive player touches the qb/receiver when they are on the ground, the ball is still live

    • @oldjarhead386
      @oldjarhead386 6 днів тому +5

      If you go down on your own the play can continue. If you go down due to the other team’s contact the play is over. Go down voluntarily the play is over.

    • @Picasso-f9j
      @Picasso-f9j 6 днів тому +2

      Only when it's an intentional act of giving up on a play. To fall down and get up and continue on the NFL legal, unless you are touched by the other players when your knee is on the ground.

    • @oldjarhead386
      @oldjarhead386 6 днів тому +1

      @@Picasso-f9j Technically not correct. You intentionally put a knee down the play is over. No opposing player touch is required. But this doesn’t stop players from touching a kneeling player to leave no doubt in the officials mind.

    🥱 Packers defense is bad vs good teams, they’re defensive stats are twice as high vs the 3 teams they lost to compared to the other teams which they’re undefeated against. If the Packers got the ball last the Lions would be 11-2. As expected the Lions defense is trending downward. They’re losing too many players. Not sustainable.
