The song "Choose Me" was chosen to be part of the netflix action movie "Kate" Band-Maid are seen on stage during a club scene performing this song, another song was also included during a car chase scene. you should check it out it's called "Blooming"
Dude, it's always awesome to see the birth of a new BAND-MAID fan. I really appreciate your thoughts on the music. That said, I heard a popping sound during your comments. I hope it was on my end but I don't think so. Again, great reaction and I really do appreciate your comments. I'm a new subscriber.
Akane's drum tones on this are killer and have that great under produced live sound. The usual interesting elements pointed out Thanks. I started drumming 3 years ago because of Akane.
"Choose Me" -- a song featured in the Netflix original movie "KATE" and the HBO Max series Peacemaker as BAND MAID, has so many great RnR chops, it's kinda unbelievable. From Saiki's old-school phrasing, cadence and a super soulful vocal at the end; MISA's driving bass, her special riff after Kanami's brilliant, rocking main solo (complete with harmonic pinch), and her pulls at the end of the song that really funks it up with Akane's drumming; to Kanami's original composition, off-beat octave stretches during the verses, and her addition of a second uncomplicated yet super tasty solo; to Akane's unique snare & tom flurry that launches the choruses; and to Miku's octave-down, in & out vocal backup and lyrics... all makes "Choose Me" a throwback rocker that surprised me when I first heard it - and I'll bet most anyone - that they would come up with this western-style, rock 'n roll classic. Of course, after years later, it's not surprising at all coming from this important band of geniuses who are, along with The Warning band, almost single-handedly bringing back the joy of rock. Here's a great live MV of "Choose Me" that's not quite as punchy do to the mix, but still good: ua-cam.com/video/HcqitbXgigU/v-deo.html Thx, Guy!
If you really want to see how far they've come check out their first song on their first album Be OK. There's no music video for it but we won't mind. As a matter of fact you'll probably have to do it off Spotify
No way not to choose Band-Maid after this song!
the people have spoken, the Chosen one is here XD

TGR, just watch the movie at that. It’s a good action flick, imo. One of Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s better works.
ooh, i was getting a vibe off this one too like some of their others that have been from anime, very cool
might save that for the Discord. I can react to whole movies and such outside YT's restrictions hehe

Now, for a real mind melt, react to the live piano acoustic solo by Saiki at the Yokohama concert. Absolutely stunning.
