    Thank you kindly for your help with this. If only my Pop could've cared to teach me more than " Hey Kid Knowledge is Power Kid, don't you forget that!". This makes me realize he never actually taught me anything. This is a genuine thank you to you and the nugget for helping me get my late best friend's kubota-swapped jeep running. It's still a wok in progress, but ever since he passed, I've been working hard, piece by piece to finish this thing. Let me know if you're ever in the Yampa Valley Area of Colorado! Thanks!

    It seams simple enough but your adding the tip's and tricks like using the pry bar and don't tighten the fittings on either end until you get them both started really helps. Looking forward to the next video. Keep them coming.

    Great video and explanation! Own a Bobcat 753C with same engine, same problem. It took less than 30 minutes to replace all 4 o-rings and bleed the lines. The recommendation on the injector hold down while breaking the flare nut…..saved a lot of grief. Thank you for posting!

    Y’all, this video saved the day. My guy changed the fuel filter on my little club car utv that has a kubota Diesel engine. Air was introduced to the fuel system. I followed the video (18:00 and on) and it completely worked. Fantastic information. Well explained and largely well filmed. Thanks from Alabama!

    Greetings from Pakistan and great video! I’ve got a Denyo generator with the same engine that I believe is seeping a little fuel at the injection pump fittings, and this info is very helpful.

    Thank you for the video... I have a 3 cylinder kubota in my 7500 watt for my semi. I believe the fuel pump was bad so i replaced fuel pump and bled the system and got her to fire 1 time and never again... Bled lines again and again and can t get her to fire.

    This was awesome. My only wish is that you explained that twist valve a little better. I have 2 of these engines on 2 bobcats, and I'm curious if I should run them with it all the way counterclockwise or clockwise. It doesn't seem to matter either way.

      Hi Ivan, I'm not sure what you mean, but I think you're talking about the air bleeder the knob. You can run it open or closed, and closed is preferred. When open, it will constantly bypass fuel, making the fuel pump run more. Also in the case of the bus, it's constantly filtering fuel, and that's the job of the bus, not Gen. I hope that covers what you're talking about.

    Tall John, Nice video and I respect the fact you're getting your grandson? involved with the project. That's how they learn not to be intimidated by working with your hands. Question; with as much work as it is to change out those O-rings would you recommend using a better grade O-ring than what you get in the Harbor Freight O-Ring Kit? I have the same kit but am unsure of the quality of the rubber and not sure if I would use them in that application. I know the rubber in bungee cords doesn't hold up at all

      Steven Below sorry for the delay to your question. I have always used these o-rings on my kubota engines. Ive been putting these in know for about 10 year now and none of the ones ive replaced are leaking yet and these busses put thousands of hours on them every year. That being typed (said) if you find a higher quality i would use them I just never looked for them. lol your right about the bungee cords

    Sir i did this and now i have a lot of smoke in my bobcat? Did i do something wrong?

    • @talljohnsfunshop2722
      @talljohnsfunshop2722  3 роки тому

      No. But you my have some air still in a line. While the engine is running crack a line 1 at a time and make sure all the air is blead out And see if that helps. Careful fuel is going shot all over so protect your eyes.
