One Month Progress | Romanian Rescue Dog | Adoption Journey

- This is a very belated video of my one-month progress and wow, I have come such a long way since!
In the first four weeks of arriving to the United Kingdom, I experienced so many new things! I had my first zoomies, first vet visit, first grooming appointment, first visit to a pet shop, first toy. I was anxious, so I had lots and lots of treats along the way!!!
During the first couple of weeks, according to the RULE OF 3 model from Rescue Dogs 101, I started getting more comfortable around the house, let my guard down and started to push the boundaries to see what I could get away with. I started chewing lots of things and being destructive with items around the house. Unwanted behaviour is very common in the first few weeks so my parents nipped it in the bud by buying me lots of long-lasting chew treats, command training and toys to keep my mind mentally stimulated.

He has come on so well, and is just the most adorable dog. That tail is always wagging now, thanks to you for giving him his forever home. Its a beautiful bond to see between you all now. 🥰

I have horribly at visitors barking romnie for three years now. And I'm starting to get really frustrated. Because activity toys, dog park, regular schedule and obedience training has no effect. Or yeah I can keep saying "silent" to my dog every three minutes but it's hard to have conversations. So yeah any tips what to do when the dog just keeps barking when the stranger is feeding him treats and not looking at him.
Oh I'm sorry to hear your Rommie dog barks a lot! Have you tried removing him from the situation or room every time he barks? I don't bark a lot but I started whimpering in the house to get attention and my pawrents either turned their back on me or put me in the other room everytime I whined and gave me a treat when I got quiet. Even if it means waiting for a long period of time until we get quiet, then give us a treat, let us back in and repeat the process consistently 🙂 Hope it gets better!
How come no more videos, what happened? What you have shown is over 2 years ago. With this kind of showing us these late videos, you will never get many subscribers.

I also have a Romanian adopted dog. Adorable!!. I know some Romanian words that he understand: Come: Aicha, Eat: Mananch… Beautiful: Cuminte!!. The last one is his favorite 🤩.

What dog training books etc did you look at before getting him? I read a load when I got my first pup 17 years ago but could do with some more up to date info when I get my next one.
My pawrents did alot of research through UA-cam and primarily read through resources from Rescue Dog 101 💛 I do hope you consider adoption, my mommy is the UK representative for my shelter, so she can help you find a good match!

Awe this was so heartwarming. So wonderful to see a great success story. Falcor looks like a very happy boy, smiling all the time. You've done a good job with him. You can see that he loves you and wants to please you. You deserve a treat!

Did you get any official word on his heredity yet? Every time I watch your videos I freak out because it looks like an alpha male dog mated with one of those poofy little dogs -- with a dachsund body mixed in
