Jax is proof that people can change for the better if they really want to. He seems like a great guy now. He wears the title Dad very well.
People can definitely change it's not an easy process. You have to be conscious of everything everyday. I am a much better person today then I was thirty years ago when I was drinking. I literally followed the program. LOL you have to keep in touch with your sponsor and I remember my sponsor telling me one day your brain ain't right if you think you should turn left then turn right. I thought I was the most loving generous person in the world and it took going through that to make me see how selfish and thoughtless I could be. One of the biggest things I remember was being inside my own head and my sponsor said I want you to go out and do a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. I felt like I was high after I did that. But I am living proof that someone can change

Hearing about Jax’s mom sending those books anonymously but putting “from nana” on the back tore at my heartstrings. 😭 I lost both of my parents and wish they could be here to meet my 1 year old. The fact that she took the time to send Cruz gifts even though she and Jax weren’t talking is so thoughtful. Especially the pillows and blankets made from his grandpa’s clothing. He will cherish those things as he grows. 🥹
& she probably wrote Nana so small so that they wouldn't see it, cuz she was concerned they wouldn't give it to him, being that they weren't speaking.

I teared up when Jax said how thankful he was that Brittany was there to pull him up out of depression and him cheating. I’m really happy to see these two win and become so happy ❤

He's always been image conscious. It was more evidence he hasn't grown significantly to me when he went to "people just want to see me fail" when asked what's the biggest misconception of their relationship. Still as self-absorbed as ever.

I have been rewatching VPR and am up to Season 2, it is crazy how much Tom played the same narrative with Kristin as Ariana...at Stassi's mums house, S2, Ep3 he even started with the she puts me down and we don’t sleep together much, telling Jax that it's like his very presence annoys Kristen...the exact wording he said to Swartz about Ariana 9 years later, both narratives with a mate setting up reasons for a breakup...even down to the no tears cry acting...hmmm, very eye opening, well worth a view! 🤗

Exactly. What a scum. Making her feel crazy so she literally became zealous as she tried proving she was right. It was awful watching at the time bc I knew her mom, met her as newborn & toddler..

Katie post divorce, Lala’s custody situation and Scheana navigating friendships as an adult and mother brought back the vibe of a group of friends friending that the show was built on
Actually scandoval did. The show started with Scheana gaslighting brandiglanville for having an affair with Eddie. No one especially stassi,Katie, Kristen wanted anything to do with Scheana because they thought she’d sleep w their men. And the only one who welcomed Scheana was Tom Sandoval. She knew to, before she knew Ariana.
Jax had his own Raquel moment. Hooking up w his best friends girlfriend while he slept on the side of the wall.

Scheana, when Brock was on the show S9 he handled the drama so well. He owned everything from his past and overall has proven to all us he is a great man. Lala (love her) but was ruthless on him - he handled it so gracefully. You two are amazing together!

Watching Schena as a podcast host is so refreshing. The show paints her as this needy/clingy/chatterbox type of person but watching her in real time is so fun and she just comes off as good vibes. Love it

Sandoval tried to do to Ariana like what he did to Kristen. Only difference is that Ariana is stronger. The gaslighting, the framing Ariana as a villain, mental case etc. He's only sorry his narrative failed and he got caught for the lying scumbag. Schwartz was in the know for a long time and cosigned it by allowing Sandy and Ratchet to hook up in his apt. and go off on trips together with Jo.

Ariana had an affair with Tom to get on the show! The entire show is all of them cheating on each other. None of this is new for that group! I’m so glad Lisa called them out on the hypocrites that they are! Lala acting outraged when she would sleep with anything married with kids to get a Range Rover. The only person on the show that isn’t just as guilty as Tom and Raquel is Katie.
If you can't see the difference you don't want to see the difference. Tom told Arianna he broke up with Kristin... she wasn't bestie's with Kristin and Kristin and Tom were cheating on each other.

It is SHOCKING how mature and level headed and honest and just what a great guy Jax has turned into! I do credit it mostly to having met, married and having his son w Britney! She really came in and changed that man for the BEST! And he has redemption! Karma always comes around, it may take a few years, but she's always ready! Great podcast! But all of yours are TBH
No I dont think its all credit to Britney. Regardless of his mistake and the role of villain Jax played, he had a great dad. So im sure that foundation always stays. He may mess up, people may not like his character, but hes not a manipulator and doesnt blame others for his mistake (as far as i remember).

When I see it I defend him and say that having a kid and taking a break from the show has done wonders for him and they should prob watch something like this. I love watching the Brittany and Jax watching VPR and how he is so honest and his accountability and has shown all of us what a great husband, father and friend he is! Yes, his Dad laid the groundwork….but having a wonderful wife and them being “yoked” together….it is so wonderful to see them blossom!
Hearing Jax take such an adult stance when it comes to his relationship with his mother is so refreshing. I’m in a similar situation with my father so I understand some of what he’s going through and I definitely sympathize with him. The way he’s handling it is amazing to see ❤

I think in the beginning Jax was such a stinker but he absolutely made the show. Without him VR wouldn’t have gone anywhere. Poor Stassi. She’s done well too I think. He was the reason I watched. I am 100% with Jax, I thought the reunion would tell us something we already didn't know in the media, so I get where he's coming from, it was good, but not shocking enough. Loads of time left though and to be honest, it's my own fault b/c I sneaked a look at the reunion on Twitter that was put out almost a week before it aired. I won't make that mistake again. :)

Ppl can say what they want but I've watched for the whole ten years and Jax is a completely different person. I'm so happy for him that he was able to change into the family man that he always wanted to be and he seems to love an enjoy his life for the first time ever. Being a dad looks great on Jax! You can tell how much he's changed since becoming a dad. It's good that they put being at home and the family before being worried about being on TV and constantly going out. Some of the others in the group that are parents could benefit from maybe putting their children first instead of constantly partying. Kids grow up so damn quick and they will be grown before you know it. TV isn't everything.

And I agree about Jax. Brittany has been a great influence, as well as him being a dad. I also think him losing his Dad had a huge effect on his desire to make his Dad proud, which he expressed at one point.

I love that Brittany is from Kentucky because I am also from Kentucky and still live in northern Kentucky and she is such a wholesome person she makes kentucky proud I love all of them
This made me cry and have so much more respect for jax, 33 and I've neve had a relationship with my mom , it was a childhood of put downs and being sent away and told i should be thankful my dad didn't let her abort me. I reached out in 2020 and got similar responses like jax says, its heart breaking . Hearing him talk about this makes me feel less alone, and yes it did feel good to reach out as a parent ourselves. I love you jax and brittany ❤

Not quite the same. Adriana wasn’t Kristen’s bestie. Ariana admitted she covered for Tom early on and shouldn’t have. Kristen never had the talks with Adriana that Rachel has had asking about her relationship. Big difference but you are right once a cheater almost always a cheater.
@@luckyfiddle33 I understand it’s different, but Ariana pushed so hard to make Kristen look crazy when Ariana knew she wasn’t was horrible. I think they are all gross, Katie is the only one who hasn’t cheated. I’m not defending anything Tom or Raquel did but the whole show is based around them all cheating. Most of them have done worse than Tom and Raquel. Lala and sheana obviously are the worst cheaters but they all do it. Them acting shocked is laughable.
I agree. That was cruel to Kristin and they all have track records except Katie and her Tom cheated on her more than once. I hope Katie finds love.

Scheana, I also have to tell you how much I Love your hair. No matter how long it was, it always looked so thick, shiny, and healthy. When you said that you were going to cut it, I was like NO don't do it!! I have been watching since that very first episode when you and Brandi sat down to talk and then Housewives ended and blended right into starting off VPR! You have gone through many transitions of yourself and I have to tell you that this phase of your life is it!! Your haircut is beyond amazing added to the less and softer makeup - this is The Best version of you that I have seen to date! This is coming from someone who could probably teach you all a thing or two about being wild and crazy!! I'm still waiting for that "Big Epiphany" that is going to strike me to say - Hey you're a grown up now! I just turned 61 (I still can't believe how that even happened)!!! But, I realized that my brain and thoughts are still funny and demented, it's just that my body hasn't kept up! I'm a wife, Mom, and Grandma (which is so much fun compared to being a parent). I often think of this really cute sign/plaque that I got on my 40th Birthday, it says:

This is so great to watch. Love it! Sheanna had Hellp syndrome too which some women don’t make it through. As an ICU RN we had two pass away bc of complication after complication. Heart breaking. I hope she does surrogate next time…🙏❤️
