My head has been full of negative nonsense all my life because of mental and emotional trouble coming from my mother and exacerbated by the world. I've prayed and prayed but it remains the same. Here is my answer (but maybe not the answer you expect to hear.) to you: Give up your self-improvement-project straight away!! You will simply NEVER make it. The reason for this is; whatever you do, think or behave, it will in one way or the other always be influenced by yourself. By your sinful nature. If you want to stand righteous before God, then I want you to know that God only accepts absolute perfection, and no less. The truth is that your good deeds would not bring you as much as an inch closer to God. If they did, then Jesus wouldn`t need to die. You see, when it comes to the relationship between you and God, your good attemps to become «better» are totally irrelevant. God is not interested in your attempts. In fact, trusting you own good deeds are straight up idolatry in Gods eyes and actually a great sin. In this situation it`s tempting to think: Maybe the Holy spirit can help me become better? But he will actually not, becaus he can not. You see, it is absolutely impossible to build a wooden building if all the wood building material is rotten, just as it is impossible to harvest fruit from a non-fruit-tree. Quite alot of people acts (trying hard to live righteous)like christians, talk (like using spiritual phrases)somewhat like christians, and behave (like going in the church)somewhat like christians, but they are actually NOT Christians. Let me be more clear: There are not anything like «more» or «less» christian. Your`re either a christian or you are not!!! Whooaa....thats really harsh, you might say. Yes, the truth can sometimes be hard. So please let me explain. You have probably heard the word «gentleman»? When we hear this word, we think often think of a person which behaves and dresses in a certain way in which actually makes him a «gentleman». But the original meaning of the word had nothing to do with behaviour. The word «gentleman» originates from England (from the middle age), and a gentleman was the nickname of a nobleman who owned a piece of land. Thats it. A gentleman was a rich person, owning something very specific, and what he owned made him a gentleman. The title had nothing, zero, nada to do with his/her behaviour. Of course it was excpected from a gentleman to show good behaviour, but not to BE a gentleman but because he already WAS a gentleman. And onething is then also clear: A gentleman owned everything he needed to own (no less, no more)to have the title «gentleman». In the very same way, a christian is first and foremost a person OWNING something . And what a christian owns makes him a christian. Let me use another picture to clear things up: In a circus they had a trained chimpanzee as part of their show. The monkey was dressed up like an old man, wearing a hat. And they trained the monkey to sit by a real dinner table, eating dinner by using a knife and fork. But here is the thing : A monkey dressing up like a human, does not make him an actual human. (Everybody understands that). The only way a monkey could ever be human is to actually be born as a human. And in the very same way: The only way you and me could ever be christians, is to be born as christians. Therefore Jesus say we must be born again. Here comes the tricky part of it..And I´will dare to say that here lies a secret which is hidden for most people. If I asked you the question: When did you decide to get born into this world? Your answer would be: I didn`t! You did not have anything to do with your natural birth, as it was the action of someone else. But when it comes to our spiritual birth people like to think that we are the ones in controll, when the fact is that we have just as little influence on our spiritual birth as on our natural birth. (I do NOT support the doble-predestination dogma, like the calvinist teaches). In John chapter 3 (please read the whole chapter)Jesus teaches Nicodemus that «unless someone gets born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God» Nicodemus was a pretty smart guy, so he saw the impossibillity of this task and the asks Jesus this almost comical question «How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mothers womb and be born?» Jesus reply to this question is pretty remarkable. Instead of just answering like this: «This is what you need to do, and how you become born again...»,Jesus does not give this man any recipe or clue to follow. But what Jesus does instead are a million times more valuable. Jesus starts to talk about his death, about how he will be lifted up and die on the cross in the same way like the coppersnake was liftet up in the dessert (so that everyone who LOOKED at the snake would be instantly healed from their disease). Remember when God in the beginning created the world, he just spoked everything into existence. We often hear people say (often about other people): «We don`t only want words, but we want action.» But God acts by speaking!! And when Jesus spoke about the cross to Nicodemus, he actually spoked the new life, the new birth into him. The message about the cross, about Gods innocent lamb who was slaughtered in your place, is THE GOSPEL. And the gospel is the message which makes new creatures out of us. Listen very carefully: The gospel is not solely a messages (like anyother message we can hear in this world) in which we can hear, judge and then take some sort of action. The gospel is first and foremost the message were God himself acts through his word. As this probably is my longest ever reply to anybody on youtube, let me finish of with a last story. Before I got married I went to the goldsmith and bougth two wedding-rings made of pure gold. In exchange for the rings, the goldsmith wanted a payment. But, just imagine this scenario: I ask the goldsmith how much it is for the rings. The goldsmith replys, «1200 dollars for both». But what the goldsmith didn`t know, was that in exchange for the rings, as payment, I had brought with me the garbagebag from under the kitchen-sink... Do you think any goldsmith in the world would accept a payment like that?? Never. The peculiar thing thought, is that in exchange for salvation, a new life, Jesus asks only for one thing in return and one thing only! And this one thing is not your good attempts! Jesus only asks for your sins! He asks for everything in which you are ashamed of in life, things you have said but shouldn`t, things you have done but shouldnt do, thoughts you thought but shouldn`t. Jesus simply wants your entire bag of garbage and in return he gives you «the wedding ring» of pure gold. Martin Luther called this exchange the «golden exchange». The relationship between Jesus and a christian are as the relationship between a groom and his bride. The groom reaches out his «golden ring», places it on the brides finger and says : «From now on, all which is mine is now yours» and what do we get. We get Jesus righteousness, and from that moment he count his righousness as it actually belonged to us, as it was actually us who had never sinned, ...and then the bride puts her ring on the grooms finger and says: «All which belong to me, is now your» and what the groom (Jesus) gets, is our sin. But Jesus, our groom, never asks for anything else than your sins. And when this reality, the real gospel, opens up for a human being, then your own sins, your own lack of selfinsight, and your generally lack of anything suddenly starts to become a very, very unimportant matter :-) Focus outwards, on the cross (not inwards on your own heart). Focus on what Jesus HAS done to you, for in that sight you will find salvation. - all the best

I was in a sad place praying in my car after my dog had passed away, for some reason I opened my eyes and looked in the rear view mirror and Jesus was in the back of my car, his face in my mirror. I looked away in a shock reaction and looked back and couldn't see him after that. I'll never lose that overwhelming memory and feeling I got that day. Please everyone reading this believe, even sometimes myself I say how is it all possible as most of us do but after seing him myself I'll never ever think that way again. God bless you all.

It's an ongoing process that never ends. Nobody ever arrives but when you read the letters Paul wrote to the church Roman's Corinthians Galations Ephesians Collosians Phillipians you'll see who you are in Christ. You'll see what Jesus has done for you ect. For example 2 Corth. 5:17 says that if any man be in Christ hes a new creation old things have passed away all things are made new. Tell yourself thru meditation that you're a new creature in Christ. It's not positive thinking it's the TRUTH OF WHO YOU ARE.
Look for the Scriptures that say In Christ In Him etc. And know that's the real you that's who Christ made you to be and walk in the light of that and dont be moved by anything. God loves you and Christ died for you to have it.

That would be a sign. Hard part is dealing with everyone around you. As an old man, many of us seniors can't believe what is going on in the world today. It's absolute lunacy out there with the devil running rampant. No decency, no class, uneducated, lost in drugs, horrible music, movies, tv, then add the internet, corruption abound, money, greed and living a life of sin. Dude, they are trying to groom children now in school for pedos. I have a lot of questions for the Almighty if I ever get to ask those questions. It's a hard fight to live a righteous life in this world today. Best thing to do is get into a better environment. Surround yourself with better people. Stay away from toxic people even if they are family. Learn from those who are happy and succeeded in life. There are people who have almost nothing that are still very happy and successful so it's not all about having materialistic items. One other item to mention. Hard work pays off. Don't forget that. Best reward ever.

Speak it, believe it, receive it! Amen! I just quit smoking a week ago. Jesus spoke to me before, when I was drunk crying on the floor, because I started drinking again after a 6month sober run. He said he loved me no matter what, if I wanted to go down the drunk road again, he wouldn't love me any less, but then asked me How do you want to live though? I said I want to be good and have a good life. Then he left and I started going to AA meetings again, I stayed sober for 9 months, then started drinking again. But after the 9 months of sobriety, I don't even like the taste, And I don't use abuse alcohol anymore, I can have just one beer and not want anymore! That's a miracle if you were or are an Alcoholic. And now I just quit smoking and don't obsess over Alcohol I feel unstoppable, I don't know what my future holds but it's good!

Same here, out of no where I just threw the cigarettes, etc down, I give all glory to God, i had tried everything to quit I.e. pills, patches, you name it, but all it took was powerful prayer, poured out my heart to God and he saved me from my prison I'd chosen to be in all those years, now I'm free and it feels so good! Praise God!

This is so true! I have had multiple visitations with Jesus I tell it all in my book “My Friend the Holy Spirit” and some in my other book “Your God Given Task” by Gift Zawadi Love. This is super true! I also got to see demons when I was praying at 3am & they threatened me saying “If you don’t stop praying, we will do to you what we did to your mother!” They attacked my mom’s ministry by giving my dad a stroke. I ignored them, finished praying & went to bed... when in my sleep the Holy Spirit woke me up & said “turn around!” I turned & looking at my ceiling, it was full of demons! I was so worried that they came as they had threatened but my baby was in the bed with me... as I was thinking of this... the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus said He would... reminded me of a scripture I read about 2 weeks earlier... Colossians 3:1-3. Vs three He said say “I am hidden in Christ in God!” I shouted “I am hidden in Christ in God!” Immediately the demons vanished! My friend the Holy Spirit asked me, “do you know why they came?” I said “no! Why?” He said, “ because when they threatened you, you never responded with the word of God like Christ did in the wilderness. When Christ was spoken to by the enemy He always responded with the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. He said, ‘it is written...’ for each response. Silence in the spiritual realm is taken as an acceptance, authorizing the enemy to operate in your life. That is why you must know what God says so you can attack the enemy with it” I learned my lesson & defeat the enemy daily with the sword of the spirit. I hope this helps someone like it did me... any thought that comes which contradicts God’s will for your life, you must counter attack it with the word of God... uproot it & plant God’s word in its place it works!! I have a few words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, but it is for real and I thought that it would be important to say it.
Its long because I've tried to and any faqs!
Hopefully this will answer some of those nagging questions -

Do you ever struggle? Or doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Do you wonder if He even exists for that matter? Read this:
Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count as stealing), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human!
You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
What is that "glory", morally speaking?
Well, the opposite of human nature and desires.
Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us.
But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it?
Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things.
Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it?
The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a
murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil.
This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell.
"The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20
But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation.
Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin.
God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us).
God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished.
Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf).
So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH.
"I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortally and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25,26
ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone.
Religion = rules to be saved
The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out.
...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
What does it actually mean for us?
It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation.
Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life.
What does this new way of life entail?
It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39.
Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose.
Sound "opposite" again?
God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature.
We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God)
Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him.
"With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26
What is the way FOR though?
Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations.
Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15.
Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world.
The path He wants you to walk is a path of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation.
All we need is faith.
The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived.
God preferred His own Son to be tortured And killed to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him.
What if I still find myself sinning after I have accepted Christ?
That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus.
It's a process - a lifelong process - of God bringing you back to Him, away from the destructive pleasures of sin (greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This process takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame.
Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful.
"those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37

Note down the Gospel of "John", or "Luke" (if you want a more detailed account of it all).
Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6
Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling.
You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you.
Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you!
Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will.

Christianity endows an embryo with a "soul" - and thus it's humanity - at the moment of conception. While you may love the idea that Jesus/God "created you, you must consider the fact that many soul-bearing humans are snuffed out of existence every moment of every day, without end. Jesus/God must be okay with this perpetual holocaust, because it has existed with our (and all other) species throughout time. Can you reckon the mind of a God that creates and loves you as an individual, yet abides the slaughter of many more future humans than the number of living humans that die each year?

The prince of this world is Satan,, Jesus will judge all including the Angels that fell with the dark one and even the divine council in which God established the nation according to their number.. The Bible clearly lays all of this out including the knowledge that the sprit is eternal and the flesh is but a vapor.. this world is consumed with the flesh,, it’s desires. This is in contradiction to the Holy Spirit, those who have not experierenced the renewing of the mind and thus the knowledge of the truth will respond as scripture indicates, that’s this is foolishness.. however God states who the foolish are and it’s those who are at enmity because of their non belief.. The fallen ,, persecute kill and destroy and use their God given free will to do so.. they will be judged,, as will all who do not accept Christ as the one who will advocate and keep you from judgement.. worrying yourself about what others do who do not believe as justification for non belief is quite silly and will not pass muster in the courts if Heaven,, Your soul is yours to keep but where it will be kept will be determined by who and what you believe not whom you question..

I'm 23 years old and sometimes I make so many mistakes that I don't how the Lord can forgive me. But then I am reminded of what Jesus did in that cross
You’re right. Jesus IS Lord and there is nothing, I mean NOTHING too big for him. He overcame death and sin! I believed Jesus as my lord and savior my whole live and I went astray and had a prodigal - wild child few years...I did drugs & alcohol, slept with married man, fooled around with same sex, even a few things I’m so embarrassed to say and even though I believed he was my savior and forgave me of all my other sins I didn’t think he could forgive me of these stains but I was WRONG. SO WRONG. God showed me on Good Friday 2021 to give it to him now and forget it. The stains are gone! Confess your sins to him, accept and love him as your savior and those sins, those stains in your life are GONE! Gone forever!!
Remember, They're only mistakes in the mind of Man! GOD sees us only in perfection!! Exactly the way HE created us!! Please focus on this only!!
I think you should go before God and repent (make a conscious effort to quit the stuff you do to hurt God and ask him for forgiveness) and ask God to fix you while all you do is to trust in him. That's why he will send his Holy Spirit to us ..to help in our weakness if and only if u sincerely ask for help. He will be right there...😊💛💛
@J M u see , before you'd go up and be right with anyone you feel like you've hurt, you gotta say sorry and mean it in order to show them you ain't going to do that thing again in as much as they have forgiven you...thats the repented part(making sure not to hurt them again by giving them your word and actually acting upon your word) in as much as they already forgave you.
@J M Hi dear...Jesus really and truly died for us dear....the love of humans can never be unconditional in the sense that no one would want to sincerly die for their friends because that love is not perfected. But because God's love is as pure and perfect he sent the one person that's valuable to him because he loved us to redeem us, give us eternal life(Zoe) as well as bless us with every spiritual blessings we need. Kindly refer and meditate on John 3:16/Ephesians1:1-6/John1:1/ Romans8...it really gives much revelation about why and what Christ did for us. 😊💚

My Mami experienced something like this when she was in the hospital in 2011. They resuscitated her and she shared her experience with us. I’m sure she wanted to stay there with our Lord but I am so thankful He sent her back.

Return and finish what I started in you, and tell the others."
