    They are really as good as they claim to be. Loved em, had to sell my last rock crawler, but they will be on my next build.

    How do you determine the length of Ori you need?

    • @Skinflaps_Meatslapper
      @Skinflaps_Meatslapper Рік тому +2

      Take your shock and spring off, compress the suspension to its limit or until something rubs or binds (meaning, steering and CV joints if applicable), measure eye to eye. Fully extend suspension until something binds, measure eye to eye. Contact ORI with your measurements, vehicle weight, and intended use, they'll probably have something that'll work for you.

    Sway bars help keep traction when off cambered

      @@kevingraham8249 lol blank statement they keep pressure on the wheels which creates traction look up anti rock sway bars. If you don’t know what your talking about don’t talk crap.

      @@travispinkerton9916 blanket. BLANKET. off cambered a sway bar MIGHT help you with traction, or hinder you depending on the circumstance. Saying it's black or white is a blanket statement. As far as antirocks or any swaybar, if you push up on one side the other side wants to also go up. "sway bars help with traction when off camber" is just a blanket statement. And just to put my money where my mouth is, tell me is it the antirock that helps me get traction here, is it a bunch of travel from a light sway bar?

      Depends on the vehicle, Anti rock sway bars are their own animal just like the AIr struts.
      Leaf vs coil vs coil-over.. Too many variables. My Leaf spring YJ is un-drvieable on heavy stuff ESPECIALLY off camber with the bar connected.

      I run no sway bars and run tons of off camber trails. Non issue. You don't need them for some setups.

    you cant have a bunch of air in there and claim it dampens better than a coil over.. this guy doesn't know anything about anything, lol !
    i'll never buy these because this guy is so lame as he lies ,,

  • @3thomasdm
    @3thomasdm Рік тому +3

    why do people continue to call them "struts"? they are dampers, or if you must, shocks.

    • @Shylockza
      @Shylockza Рік тому +1

      Likely thinking of them due to the MacPherson struts, which are totally different but anyhoo... you're right, they are shock-absorbers

      Struts have springs lol

    • @kregadeth5562
      @kregadeth5562 Рік тому +1

      If it’s got a spring it is a support structure. If it’s a support structure it is a strut. The word has existed far longer than car suspensions
