I've watched alive 1 when I was a kid. CS was my first big game, I watched alive 1 and it really touched me. I was maybe 13-14? Now here I am, 25, different challenges in life, different person, different mentality. My heart trembled when this video popped up in my suggested videos, I watched... and again I'm touched. I can't describe what I felt when you made the transition from cs 1.6 to cs:go. I felt so related, oh my god... for me it was like I never accepted that cs 1.6 is getting lost each year, and cs:go is the new shit. I mean, I like cs:go and I play it a lot, but I never wanted to accept that cs 1.6 was dying. For some reason this video made me feel good about it and a little bit nostalgic of course, but this was amazing. This video deservers million of views, you made an excellent work, I'm your fan.

Man your talent was, an is still unrivaled. I remember when the first alive dropped it shocked pretty much everyone in the community, made regular frag movies look like it was from another time. For some reason i never got to see this video, but this here is amazingly well done, the editting and 3d renders, the real life shots (holy shit the quality of those), and the way you managed to emotionally capture the viewer. Good job man, honestly so refreshing to see this even 3½ years later

I had no idea that this movie came out until today, oh my god! I remember watching the first one 9 years ago and it's still one of the best edits I've ever seen and now I find out that you made a second one. This is by far one of the most unique and creative CS movies that's ever been made, honestly. It's way more than just an edit, it has a great story and that's what makes it so special, loved every second of it.

I was really bugged by the fact that you used cs 1.6 and a real life greenscreen on top of it, didn't fit at all. but somehow you managed to explain that and you even brought a conclusion AND a starting point for the 3rd movie. that's some triple A stuff, congrats on this beautiful video
I have to agree, it felt a little mediocre to me. Personally if Evgeny is making a 3rd movie, i'd like to see him use a similar style to the 1st movie and make it csgo related. Just spend time finding the right soundtracks, come up with a heartbreaking story and edit that shit like crazy!

And now after 6 years I just decide watch some old CS matches and movies and I found this..The best I've ever seen. Big respect to Petuhov. I miss good and old 1.6, the game where the real skill was reason of winning. Best times of counter strike. Maybe one day Valve will surprise us with some re-builded 1.6 🙏 But Mixep, this is godlike work. Masterpiece.

The music in Alive 1 and Alive 2 is amazing. Is there a way to listen to the music in the second, as I have the songs from the first, but this seems to be made specifically for Alive 2
I guess I’m late to the party, however this is mesmerizing content and certainly very unique with your story telling and combining real life translations into the game. Mind blowing visual fx! and your passion for 3D work shows all thorough from a beginning to an end. This must have taken many hours and focus, not to mention space! (did the total project size soak an entire harddrive?) lol! While I enjoy this cinematic and (reach the vfx fantasy limits) I must mention that my primary taste of editing is clayman-style. In my eyes and mind, the complexity and passion for editing goes far beyond visual FX and choice of animations. It’s when you by fingertip feeling knows which choice of music to use in synchronization to a historic gameplay and then at the same time manage to follow through with minimalistic details that doesn’t take away the charm of a 1on4 situation for example. You get what I mean

I guess I’m late to the party, however this is mesmerizing content and certainly very unique with your story telling and combining real life translations into the game.
Mind blowing visual fx! and your passion for 3D work shows all thorough from a beginning to an end.
This must have taken many hours and focus, not to mention space! (did the total project size soak an entire harddrive?) lol!
While I enjoy this cinematic and (reach the vfx fantasy limits) I must mention that my primary taste of editing is clayman-style.
In my eyes and mind, the complexity and passion for editing goes far beyond visual FX and choice of animations.
It’s when you by fingertip feeling knows which choice of music to use in synchronization to a historic gameplay and then at the same time manage to follow through with minimalistic details that doesn’t take away the charm of a 1on4 situation for example.
