Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Home Entertainment LLC is the home video arm of the American media company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was found in 1973 by MGM Holdings in the USA. They we're known as MGM/CBS in 1980 to 1982, MGM/UA in 1982 to 2005, and MGM Home Entertainment in 1998 to now.

My thoughts on these MGM Home Entertainment (formerly MGM/CBS Home Video, then MGM/UA Home Video) logos:
MGM/CBS Home Video 1st logo: This one is really cheesy compared to the other next logos.
MGM/CBS Home Video 2nd logo: Much better than the 1st one.
MGM/UA Home Video 1st logo: I find this one pretty decent for the time.
MGM/UA Home Video 2nd logo: Nothing else to say, as there's no footage found.
MGM/UA Home Video 3rd logo: My God. This one has no excitement put in this. There's no music in this logo at all. And it's just a still logo of the 1st logo, (except with the copyright notice at the bottom) with logos of the MGM/UA in the background changing colours. That's just dull! Fortunately, the next logo is much better.
MGM/UA Home Video 4th logo: Oh my God! This is probably the _best logo of MGM/UA Home Video logo so far! This is also one of my favourites from the VHS counterpart of MGM._
MGM Home Entertainment logo: Nothing much to say about this one. It's _exactly_ the same as the theatrical logo, but with "HOME ENTERTAINMENT" added at the bottom.

MGM DVD:
1st logo: This is not my favourite logo from the DVD counterpart of MGM. The *next logo* is.
2nd logo: A really fantastic DVD logo here!
