My dad has a Limousine company in Zurich and one of his customers...a "president" of some country, once rented 8 S classes just to go from the Zurich Airport to St. Moritz, with police cars following us and stuff...these guys don't want to drive around in RR's or Maybach Pullmans, just because they are too much- in your face. One helluva car. It is the last of the Series VII Phantoms. The new Series VIII Phantoms are out in 2018, with all aluminum monocoque bodies from BMW. No more body on frame and no more naturally aspirated V-12's.

Not entirely sure you meant it the way you said it, but the RR Phantom wasn't "created back in 2003", as you said in the video. Just the current body style was. This current body style is the Phantom 7. The very first Phantom was obviously, the phantom 1, produced back in 1925.

But it is also true that the car's entire body, engine, gearbox and most other components are not produced in Goodwood, they come in boxes mostly from Germany and are only assembled in the factory, the plant has a partially robotized paint shop, and of course wood and leather shops, with a level of quality and detail second to none! Unfortunately, this is even more true in regards of the price point, or let me put it this way: I see $300K here, but not $667K...
Yet BMW still has the parts to make such a vehicle since BMW provided Rolls Royce with the parts to make the phantom. But I do agree that the phantom is a much more luxury car than the 7 Series

This car is so boxy. Exterior, interior. Everything aside from the tires and the steering wheel is square. Maybe it is just my peasantness but I don't like this car. In fact if before I saw the price on this you showed me the interior of it and that of a Mulsane or a lower range RR I would say it is WAY cheaper. It just looks dull
