Mason name is still mentioned on the Show Coronation Street. I love seeing Carla, Ryan, Bobby, Lisa, and Betsy all together. They have some great Actress and Actors on the show. It is some feat to turn such a beautiful story, in the Carla & Lisa love story, into such a dark and depressing story. I think whoever thought it was a good idea to have such a gorgeous couple, with such amazing chemistry, spend such a large proportion of their time at the start of their relationship with one of them in a hospital bed, should be fired! It is a waste of what was such a captivating story and before the relationship has even really got going. They have not even walked together along the street holding hands yet! I know they want to keep the viewers wanting more but if it gets any more dark and depressing the viewers will be turning off rather than wanting more! Please just let them be happy together for a little while. Both they and the viewers deserve that much after waiting so long for the falling in love story to reach fruition after such a long and slow burn. That would be the new producers fault. She was the one who created the Tina and Peter affair. And killed off Tina. Was also responsible for Carla and rob brother/sister relationship. And she wanted to do it again

The new producer is therefore continuing the story that another producer started and probably has different ideas about where to take the story and they probably want to make it their own and put their own mark on it. But surely the sensible thing to do when you inherit a beautiful story that is hugely popular is to not mess with it too much?
What has happened to Coronation Street? Relentlessly dark and depressing storyline, it bears no relation to what it once was. There's no balance whatsoever.
They seem to want to turn something beautiful, in the Carla & Lisa love story, into something dark and depressing, before the relationship has even really got going. I saw from the spoilers for next week that Carla finally returns home from the hospital and Lisa promises to look after her. So maybe some light at the end of the tunnel...
People say this a set up, how would they know about each other, why would they bother, not mention they wouldn't fully trust eachother, We've seen robs change from a street wise charmer, to murderer & redemptive hero regarding tracy court, him learning about god isn't completely out of the stretch to co-op with what he's done, he wouldn't want to be involved in another death, so I genuinely believe this is legit.
Ok I have seen the ending it does appear a set up, kinda disappointed given robs character development he had changed he felt sad when he killed Tina admitting to regret when he escaped and did the selfless thing helping Tracy out. It just feels the writers are taking away his development so he can be looked as a bad guy.

Even tho Kate forgave her I think Carla feels guilt over it & wouldn’t want to take anything more from Kate. I think it’s the same why she won’t accept Ryan or Bobby offer. I think she feels guilty over losing aidens kidney even tho it was no fault of her own. She feels like she has let aiden down. I think she doesn’t want to take a kidney from somebody who she loves & cares about letting down. I think she afraid of accepting a kidney from Ryan or Bobby & letting them down or giving this is the second time she has suffered kidney failure I think she scared it could happing again & afraid to put them through a transplant for nothing if it did happen again.
