The Eggspectation in Lahore is much better than Islamabad. I have tried the Islamabad one and it wasn’t like Lahore one at all. Whenever you are in Lahore do give it a shot and you will see the difference

Food in Islamabad is pure disappointment! The small khokhas and dhabbas serves more tasty food than these highly overrated restaurants!

Eggspectation got relatively bigger sitting area than other cafes in Kohsar market and that’s it. Worst food quality, worst staff, worst taste ! Doesn’t meet up 1% of my expectations 🫤as I have tried almost every restaurant in Islamabad

Totally agree with your assessment, I had higher eggspectations and I didn’t have breakfast I went for dinner and I found everything to be sooo average and over priced. Bummer alert!! But good to see MOFA back in action 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
At least pyaara toh lagay...if you can't make tasty food, at least make it instragrammable 😭...for the price you pay, you're getting neither looks nor taste 🤦♀️

I'm DYING at beige hahajaha...that's EXACTLY how it looked. It was such an ugly dish tobah I didn't want to ugly shame but they left me no choice

Restaurants face a lot of overheads. The ones in places like kohsar, even more. When you eat at a place like that especially if it's an international brand, then you should EGGSPECT 😝 to pay more. However if the food turns out to be bland and the presentation is terrible too and the ambience of the place is off too...then I know that I'm not getting my moneys worth. It means they either
Skipped hiring quality staff
Didn't use quality/fresh ingredients
Don't have someone skilled to present food nicely
Didn't plan the layout/didn't invest in the experience for the customer
When all these things are bad, then I know that the money I paid, was for something totally not worth it.
So to answer your question, if the food taste, overall experience, ambience, quality of presentation etc is all great, then yes higher prices are justified IMO

Try casper cusine burger and pizzas and twisters in Soan Gardens main double road D block.
There was long curly hair that emerged in eggspectation omelet!!!! On informing them they served one nautella pasted bread that was extremely unpleasant taste wise ...!!!!

Oh that happened with me too but in my case there was a long hair in french toast but I convinced them to return my money however they forced me that they will bring new toast.

Eggspectation was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. I wonder why it's always so crowded because their breakfast isn't even good. I guess people wouldn't mind paying the prices they're charging if it were any good. Sad life. Acha nashta wese he mushkil se milta
Uff yes disappointing is the word. I think ppl go only for the brand name. That's a very sad reason to throw away money I know but I guess ppl are status conscious and want to be seen eating at such places. Thanks for watching ❤️

I totally agree with you. In Islamabad the food quality and taste is average and the presentation is okay-ish. Yet the prices are too much that doesn’t really add up. So they keep feeding people ordinary stuff the ordinary way because no one complains.
Here at least their cutlery could have been better.

Exactly and I don’t know why people don’t complain anymore. Not complaining about the poor quality of things doesn’t make one look wealthy. It shows we would each any trash in any way presented to us without really giving much thought.
People need to give feedback to restaurants so they keep the standard high.

I would recommend you to have Phily egg steak or Turkish poached eggs at Street 1 cafe.
I've had that and it gave me an upset stomach :(
@@MinistryOfFoodAffairs I know the struggle, whenever I visit Pakistan, I have stomach issues for a week at least. I think when it comes to hygiene, even these fancy restaurants lack hygiene.
Yes hygiene isn't practiced even by big restaurants
