makes it seem possible the story isn't true....but have found one case of a HOA pulling a stunt on a person who didn't actually live in their HOA. So if this is true, guess the HOA figured homeowner wouldn't have the funds to fight them in court.
Sure, but many times these lawyers think they are the big boys and no one will be able to stand up to them, that they will surrender instead of going to court because of the expenses.
@@LarryW91964 Sometimes the lawyer doesn't have many clients and will take whatever crap comes through the door. The point is that the so-called "legal" profession certifies their own, polices their own, works with their own and conspires with their own. They have to break a bunch of laws to get disbarred.
Do you know how many times lawyers are instructed by clients to do something they have been advised is unwinnable? It happens every day. People are sure they know more than most professionals, especially these days.
I would talk to your lawyer to get an injunction filed to prevent future hoa overstep. They would be powerless and warn the hoa after filed and approved that if another tyrannical board member went after his property over land value he wouldnt hesitate to install a hog farm fully permitted as a back pocket bargain chip.
To all those suggesting OP raises pigs - have you any idea how bad chicken farms smell? Additionally if you add in the noise from early morning cockerels . . . He-he!
First clue the HOA story's fiction? Yet another HOA area with Oak in its name! Oak and pine being the most common tree names as in, Oak or Pine ridge/dale/view etc.
Have found only one news report of an HOA tricking a guy into paying the dues, despite not being a member. But other than that, find HOAs tend to only screw the people who live instead of their "jurisdictions"....can't feel sorry for them since they did sign their property rights away.
It's the same general century old grandfathered farm, farmer versus HOA format, they just changed some of the details to make it a different story that's all. Another version of this has them suing the HOA for over $40,000. then the Court awards him a bunch of extra money too for no reason
Her lawyers should have known that it was a frivolous lawsuit and they were guilty of abuse of legal process and should have been disbarred.

I liked the story when the homeowner found out the hoa presidents house bordered the rear of his fence so he built his pig pen there.

Should have gotten more chickens and set it up on the HOA side 😊
zoned agricultural?? then raise HOGS. a well-established farmer vs HOA tactic.
HOAs should be illegal.
did good enough myself to get my property's values up, without needing to ask permission to make the necessary improvements from a stinkin hoa
So in return send them an agreement that the HOA is going to join your rural club at $10k per month before you consider joining the HOA.
I would love to visit this farm, I worked on an old farm from being 10 years old & loved every minute of it.
What is it with entitled people thinking that we are here to accommodate their selfish wants?

Karen, huh? That’s a very fitting name for her
How many times are you gonna re-use this story, buddy? You might wanna try developing an imagination and writing a different story.
AI DOESN'T have an imagination!!!
These hoax stories sound fake to me. Need more proof to change my mind
