Sir Dexter, it's my advice that u should use rings in the legs of ur parent birds to distinguish them from their chicks. In last vdo when u were catching the parakeets for sale, I observed that u caught some adult brids too... they might be ur parent birds! And yeah! Great job👍 All the best for Love bird progress👍 Love from an Indian breeder❤🇮🇳
I like the way you explain things and I like the enviroment you showed in your videos and the kind of treatment you are giving to all the animals you are caring, someday I wish I could also do the same, more power po Mang Dexter MABUHAY PO KAYO AT MABUHAY ANG LAHING KAYUMANGGI PILIPINAS.
Thanks for listening to me again .... Can't believe u bought African lovebirds. .... Please teach me how to breed so I can also get a pair and try to breed them :) love from Goa India 😃
Hello Sir Dexter, This was the most awaiting video in your channel, I love African love birds. I have been breeding them for the last 5 years. I bet you will love them in a couple of months. I make a really good amount only by breeding African lovebirds. You always encourage me. Thank you so much 😊
Hi sir Dexter, I have been breeding ALBs for 14 years already and there are a lot of ups and downs during this span of 14 years, but one thing I learned is that the Malungay branch is an effective material for breeding. Every time a hen is laying eggs, the pair of lovebirds will trim the bark of the malungay branch and will use it as a nesting material. This will serve as an indicator if a pair is undergoing incubation. I also suggest that you do water changes in the morning and the afternoon because this will increase the possibility of healthy lovebirds.
Hello Sir Dexter, I also breed lovebirds and the species you have is agapornis fischeri. My experience is that they like horizontal nestboxes and they use thin pliable branches for their nest. They will also chew on all wood and they love fruit. Keep up the good work!
a wonderful day to you and youre family allso youre workers i am amazing birds are coming to youre farms owesome sir dexter full suport full watching keep safe n god bless
Most of baby birds will have complete black eyes n there face will be puppy cute, Where parents or adult birds will have good mature look on the face & also there eyes will be yellow black or white black With ino gene it is different they have just red eyes through out the life. Your doing gre8 buddy, Love from India
That's a great start in parakeet farming brother.. Keep rocking bro. My kind advise in African love birds cage, pls make sure the door of the cage is small. Comparing to budgies, African lovebirds are very fast, at anytime they can fins a space for escaping. Hope you understood bro.. And breeding box will be perfect for African lovebirds for breeding instead of mud pots bro..
You have to make steel partitions cages for them, because their beaks are very strong.they cut everything and fighting each others at the time of breeding.first benefit of separate cages is that you will not mix the blood line.you can select same blood line which is effective in production.you can also know about the blood line to make mutation to make lucrative. In your country many of them working on mutation to produce good color and export these birds on higher price.. best of luck.
You can use neem or mango branches for bird perches it will be more natural and comfortable for African love birds.😇 You can buy albino and lutino varieties in Budiges they are more beautiful than normal ones. ❤️
Hi sir Dexter . just a tip when you use nest box or clay pot put palm leaves in the cage they love constructing their nest in the box it is there natural behaviour
Hello Sir Dexter!beautiful colors! Good luck in your new project!Keep birding and God bless!
Good to see you with lovebirds.I have see in your video that you have FISHER,PERSONATA,PAR BLUE , IN LOVEBIRDS VARIETY such as purple ,green blue and other colors.you have many types of blood line.you can not mix it if you want good results.you have to study about blood line of love birds which is easily available on internet, I am very happy to see you more successful in your business and motivate and help others.good luck best wishes.
How are you Dexter? The new birds are so beautiful! These birds have a longer life span! the idea is to have owners who engage with these birds daily! They also have a greater I.Q. as well. They should have a stable place to live. It is a commitment! These birds are much more expensive than budgies as you know. I had gone through a wife, a daughter that i raised by my self, and still i was the only one to give them the care needed! Like you, we are committed to any long term responsibilities we step into!. Well, it looks like your new birds are going to do well! Looking forward to seeing their permanent residence! Good luck Dexter! Peace!
Sampalok perch is d best!! Because is hard african lovebird love to bite so make sure you will put a hard perch also put a ceramic feeding and drinking bowl.. thanks i hope my my comment will help godbless😇
Dexter I suggest you to use sampaloc branches or guava branches for a rougher perch to keep their nails trim and have stronger grip. Use more fatter type. Malunggay and other greens are good for african love birds.
@@DextersWorld thanks for noticing my comment always I’m your fan 😊 i hope someday i can have my own farm. I also have UA-cam channel I focus on breeding African Lovebirds 😊
In my experience just to share I breed 15 pair Agapornis Fischeri and 15 pair of Agapornis Personatus in separate Colony breeding set-up they breed successfully with less fighting and low casualty rate the secret is to let them pair up in flight cage for natural pairing method and put 20 nest boxes or more instead of 15 nest boxes each Colony cage and give them a lot of moringga branches and lots of toys to make them busy, in my experience agapornis personatus is the best in breeding in Colony style because of their behavior and characteristics like albs1 and I also breed individual project base method, happy birding sir Dex waiting for the next part of this video.
