Sorry, but the dude interviewing knows as much about snooker as I know about quantum physics.....
Please bare in mind John is 48yrs of age,
am around 10yrs younger than him and struggle to play up to 8 frames of snooker mid afternoon never mind an evening session. I think getting some sleep when possible is a great idea physically & mentally and can only be seen a positive over long days & sessions. He personally is my favourite snooker player of all time. I have watched him play on many occasions he even agreed to a selfie with me while on the phone to a family member, Very kind professional.

@@xplaybwoix Hides it well? LOL. He purposely wears tight fitting (often marketed as 'muscle fit') clothes on a daily basis. He's not remotely a big guy, although he is obviously in shape. He's 12st soaking wet.

The level of ignorance of some of the morons commenting is staggering. John Higgins was never accused of cheating at all. He was disciplined for failing to report an approach by a scam journalist trying to get him to fix a match. Exactly the same offence that Jamie Jones got banned for, by the way. But hey, why bother with researching facts when it's easier to know nothing and make up your own!
I like John....and I'll believe you're right with the official reason for him being disciplined... but THAT video of him sat, relaxed on a sofa, talking to someone whose suggesting a fixing plan, a deal for him and he himself saying how 'easy' it is to do it etc. Regardless of it not being a bonafide crook he's talking to, John should've got up within seconds, threw up his hands and said 'WOAH mate, not a chance!...I'm not that sort!'....but he didn't. He wasn't guilty but he didn't exactly do himself any favours by sitting there, pondering and clearly entertaining the idea. All captured on video. That's what the fans are thinking of, I'm sure, not the official judgement and punishment.

Some of us been watching snooker since the 80's but CAN'T watch John Higgins for years since they let him off for cheating, willing to throw matches, fell for his pathetic weak cowardly crocodile tears, if he was not British he would have been BANNED 🚫 for years if not life.
