Honestly this is probably one of the best episodes ever. Id like to see steve and eduardo colab on some hunting and fishing!! And of course cooking and eating!! 🔥
That would be great. I'm still drooling over that feast.
Couldn’t agree more!
These two are two peas in a pod. Such mellow-esque personalities.
Garcia is very easy to watch. Great personality. More of this guy
100% agreed! Steve needs to get him out in the field
Have u seen his story on amozon prime videos?
Its about how he lost his arm
Needs to be on the podcast more often
It'd be pretty cool to see Steve do a spin-off with Garcia like Jean Paul's Duck Camp Dinners :-)
Absolutely
By far one of the best episodes of all, the cooking and vibe was dope with Eduardo. You guys def need to do another episode together
Seen this episode like 4 times. Never gets old. Only hungry.
Steve is such a good writer and when speaking he has great delivery because of his tone and interesting cadence
He studied writing in college. Watching the show he also quotes a lot of nature writers like John Muir, aldo leopold, adolph murie, John Burroughs etc...
@@drselahi yup
Wow. That dude can fly cast
Wow...
@@bobbyboucher1936 wow.....what a profile name/pic 🤣🤣 very solid
Great episode, Chef Eduardo really has a passion for food!
That gathering the essence of passing smoke line was legendary!!!
Steven has the best content anywhere. I can't get enough. Eduardo Garcia just makes it better. I can recall first seeing him on Food Network.
This was one of my favorite shows to date. Well done gents.
The Mexican culture is absolutely beautiful, from the people, food, drinks and their ruthlessness is above par
What I love about hunting, is finding recipes where I can use the game I’ve got. And I love good food. And hunting makes it taste so much better.
Eating tongue is “in” now. Growing up with grandparents who went through the Great Depression, eating tongue was a normal part of my life and I’m 35. Needless to say when I brought tongue to college in the early 2000s, my roommates had some things to say. Then I made sandwiches for them….
Steve spoils us with such kick ass guests
Wow gotta have respect for garcia. A pro chef and he hunts and fishes with one arm? Makes him like twice as badass
Eduardo is a lord. Super easy presenter to watch, nice recipes, with a great life philosophy to boot.
Thank you this is one of the best MeatEaters I ever watched Steve and Garcia you are outstanding and thank you for all that information.
Can never get enough of you guys. Especially the cooking.
Love it...really enjoy seeing Eduardo Garcia with you cooking. Love the ideas and knowledge y'all share.
Eduardo needs to be the new dos equis 'most interesting man' guy.
That Eduardo guy seems like a laid back pleasent human being!
Smoked white fish from lake superior is amazing along with white fish cheese spread
These two are so personable. I've watch this one 3 times.
This is one of my favorite episodes of meateater ever
I love how much Mexicans love their food they take such pride and care in making food for people it’s awesome.
being a latino who loves to hunt and eat i watched steve with a critical eye and all i can say is that he was very wise and respectful
Love this dude, saw him first on Sam the Cooking Guy many years back…what a story
Good simple foods that the good Lord put on earth for man to provide for himself and his family. The Natives to this land always knew that tongue was a great food source. As well as all parts of an animal, from the sinews, bones, tissues, etc. It is always good to see these practices of preserving meats and smoking both meats and vegetables. This is a great video
Hands down, my most favorite video thus far
I liked that zoom on the robo arm
His left hand 😮!
This was an excelllent episode.
Love the enthusiasm.
Musk Ox. Wow, what a fine beast!
Amazing episode!
Great vid. Love this guy, love the recipes. Always awesome Stephen. Greetings from Fremont.
My mouth is watering…
Awesome show! That’s the best way to cook and eat the outdoors. You guys need to hunt and fish together.
Just bought both my sons the meateater cookbook, boy howdy come on hunting season, cause they both like to cook...
You gotta get this guy back on the show
Great collaboration! Personalities and food!
Man this was great!
Great episode
13:40 i didnt even notice that he has a hook hand before that 😮
Thats cool that hes so natural with it.
Then again i was more listening than watching, but still
Going to watch the musk ox episode next.
Great video thanks 😊
Garcia is the real deal
Dang!! I wanna try ALL of these treats and I never knew I did until now!
Weowwww what an amazing peaceful vid to watch 👏👏... also i never new Chipotle was smoked peppers 😅🤦 awesome guys
Where do i find the recipes for the salsas and pickled red onions??? is there a link??? It all looks delicious
Good stuff!
This one was special
2 legends 1 videos thats all i can say
Great episode, love the collab!… Everyone should check out Garcia’s doc, Charged: The Eduardo Garcia Story.
Have you ever hunted and or eaten Australian kangaroo? Really bloody good if you haven’t. Love your shows man
Can I request recipe pdf's or something for all your cooking episodes?
Its funny as a city man wanting to have the county life. I've bought a bow to start hunt.
Amazing video
Dayum I'm so hungry now...
Hey what else did you do to the pickled red onions?
I grew up on tongue it's a old school dish from settlers of this country
do you hope to come back to New Zealand for some more hunting
THAT FOOD LOOKS TO DIE FOR! i gotta try making my own wild game empandas. i'm planning a deer hunt this winter. venison empanadas any good?
I've never wanted to try tong more than I do now.
Can you guys start posting the full recipes?
wait chipotle is just smoked jalapeno ? wtf i didnt know, i thought its a different kind of chili.lmao
If Garcias' life's story was made into a movie today Oscar Isaac would be the only actor to play him.
Eduardo has very vibrant eyes.
The tung looks like hart
Need a GMG bro!
Crocodile can cook?
Garcia looks like a Latina Forest Whitaker. I cant be the only one.
How did he lose his arm????
The Mexican Jake Gillynhall and no I don't know how to spell his name .
Great video Matt!!
Wish I was more adventurous with wild game but don't like duck, tongue or organs. I can eat most anything else and do often. I pride myself with not wasting game meat but just can't make the step to eat tongue or organs
It's my first time watching Garcia cool guy, what happened to his arm?
"Work with what life gave you" is one of the best pieces of advice you can get. Its so true and simple.
U can see he's a genuine guy who is thankful for what he has not bitter for what has been taken away, a mark of a true man
Yeah there is no need to buy meat in the stores, there are all game animals that are great and an easy way to fill the freezer and it saves you a lot of money.
What Steve said right before was pretty damn funny. You could see Eduardo chuckle a bit and then he got deep. I really like this pairing of personalities and skill sets.
Great video thanks
Great episode
Your telling me a guy with a hook sailed the 7 seas??? That guy was born to be a pirate
At this point I find it weird when Steve’s hair is cleaned up
Meat eater crew, I’ve been watching a long time. For what it’s worth you’d be doing a wonderfullllll thing to keep chef Garcia coming back for more episodes.
Second that!
@@FelixGalvanArt third that
Loved this episode! Eduardo and Steve’s personalities went together like smoke on a duck breast, would love to see him on future episodes.
I can see the sadness in his eyes, looks like cooking really helps this gentleman.
Eduardo seems to be a really interesting guy. Would love to hear the story behind his arm
He did a documentary about it, "Charged" believe its on Prime video. Really insightful watch.
Definitely watch his movie on prime
He was on episode of the podcast and talked about it in detail there is also a documentary
Highly reccomend Charged, absolutely amazing how he survived
@@Fin2hill Any of yall want to give the short story for those of us who don't want to sit through the whole documentary?
This guy is totally in his happy place, he cant stop smiling. It is inspiring to see people so passionate.
Need to see more of Chef Eduardo
Yes, I've been waiting for this collaboration for a while. If anyone hasn't seen Eduardo's movie "Charged", I highly recommend it. It documents him going through his accident and his recovery process. Really hoping to see a hunt with these two.
Garcia needs to be on the MeatEater crew. Two guys with vastly different upbringing but brought up in the same world of hunting.
Zuckerberg can tell you a bit about "smoking these meats". With friends.
Love this!
Garcia is an absolute treat and he cooked some really awesome looking food.
I could watch them talk all day, haha.
10/10 episode!
Yes finally my favorite cooking special out of all of them
Awesome show! Simple & complex on the tongue though. I will suggest this channel & Chef Garcia of Charged Film & Montana Mex. Outstanding!
love this show! I can't wait for my first hunt.
Tongue is probably the most underrated piece of meat in the US... mesquite smoked beef tongue with just some adobo is by far the best thing around.
Eduardo was wonderful. More of him please.
Holy shit! So much respect for chef Garcia re his accident, dude is a survivor, I would be honored to have a meal with him!
Oh man!!!! Killer recipes, killer video. Meateater for life.
Watched this, then threw some onions in to pickle and pulled a deer roast out of the freezer to put on the smoker with fresh tomatoes for smoked salsa
